Located along the historic Qintai Path, Chengdu Wenjun Mansion Hotel (Kuanzhai Xiangzi Branch) is decorated in a traditional Chinese style, a 5-minute walk from Tonghuimen Subway Station (Line 2). The hotel is beautiful and intimate! I loved the decor, the inner courtyard, the little details everywhere. The location is perfect for a tourist looking to be in downtown Chengdu on a pretty, traditional-style street. I went to Kuanzhai Alley in 10 minutes, People’s Park in 20 minutes, Tianfu Square in 25 minutes, the beautiful Wenhua Park is 2 minutes away. The Tonghuimen subway station is also 5 minutes away, conveniently located on Line 2 along all the main attractions (People’s Park, Chunxi Road). The environment is very safe and clean. As a woman travelling alone, I was never afraid to go out. My room was big and the A/C worked very well, a much needed necessity when it’s 35 degrees outside! Even though I came to the hotel in the morning, the staff gave me my room early. The staff was very helpful, and helped me book tickets for the Sichuan opera or to call a cab through the Didi app. I ate at the restaurant and the food was great. The breakfast buffet had a nice selection. Thank you Joey, Belle, Juliya, Pench, Frank, and the kitchen staff! I would come back anytime!

This well preserved BuddhaZen hotel is located in a traditional courtyard style building, situated in the Wenshu Square tourist attraction within the First Ring Road, adjacent to Tianfu Square,... Beautiful Chinese architecture and exquisite artifacts thruout. Wonderful English speaking front desk women and exceptional housekeepers. Breakfast consisted of fruit, cereal, muesli, fried eggs, bacon and toast as well as a multitude of deliciously prepared veggies, steamed bread and cake, and steamed rice and rice soup. Coffee and tea. Breakfast staff attentive and accommodating. IT solved connection issue immediately. Rooms were large enough for 2 and luggage with an easy to lock safe, closet to hang multiple outfits, glass door fridge, desk, water, tv, ac, terrace to view this ancient area. Walk in shower had plenty of hot water and excellent shampoo, conditioner, body wash. Sink was a Chinese ceramic bowl and had nice hand wash. Lots of amenities. Towels were nice and thick; sheets were soft to touch. Bed and pillows comfy. It was no problem for the property to accept a few ex package on my behalf and easily extended my reservation and changed it when my flight from Port Moresby was cancelled due to super typhoon ragasa.

I stayed in a mixed dorm for about 5 nights in July 2025. The room had a private bathroom, which I shared with my roommates. It mostly wasn't any issue regarding bumping into each other in the bathroom. The room itself is quite spacy, provides a locker and also has an AC, which the guests can regulate. The laundry room offeres two washing machines, a dryer as well as many hanging racks. The washing machine and the dryer are able to be paid by Wechat (as well as the washing machine seems to work with coins as well.) The costs for one washing load comes to 11¥. When you enter the hotel, which was very easy to find caused by providing an accurate adress, you will find the reception on the left. The lobby itself has a Cafe vibe over day and turned to a bar at night (which allowes smoking during this time.). I am a non smoker and was worried about this before, but it actually never was that intense, so even didn't bother. The hotel also offers several trips to hot spots, you might consider. The only down side is, that for most of them you would need to sign up for two people (also possible with other guess). Regarding the service, I definitely can praise Nicole, the receptionist! She is extremly helpful, fun to chat to, even played some Majiang with me in the evening and offers an awesome service, such as the others as well. I seriously recommend staying there! The location is nice, even a bit far away from the metro station (15min. by foot), the service was excellent, room spacy, nice and clean.

Skytel Hotel Chengdu se nachází v Chengdu a nabízí restauraci. Volný K dispozici je Wi-Fi. Stanice metra South Railway Station je vzdálená 15 minut chůze. Personál byl vstřícný k našim požadavkům. Mohli jsme se nasnídat o 15 minut dříve, než začínala snídaně. Také bylo fajn využít prádelnu.

Rhombus Park Aura Chengdu Hotel is property connected to the tallest office building in Chengdu, only a 5-minute stroll from IFS and Taikoo Li. The Suite was very large and with super comfy bed. Great Central Location. Value for money was excellent
