Staying at Hotel Amanda felt like stepping into a scene from One Thousand and One Nights. From the moment we arrived, we were swept away into a world of elegance, charm, and quiet luxury. The architecture and decor whispered stories of distant lands and ancient beauty, with every corner more enchanting than the last. Our room — or should I say palace suite — was larger than the average home in Amsterdam, with soaring ceilings, rich fabrics, and soft lighting that made the entire space feel like a private fairytale. The pool was a sparkling oasis, especially in the golden glow of the afternoon sun. We spent hours there, floating under the sky and forgetting the outside world. The breakfast each morning was a royal feast, with fresh fruits, pastries, and local delicacies presented with care and warmth. But what truly sets Hotel Amanda apart is the service. Every staff member treated us not as guests, but as honored friends. Thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely kind — it’s rare to feel so seen and so welcome. If you’re dreaming of a magical escape where reality gently fades away, look no further. Hotel Amanda is not just a place to stay — it’s a story you’ll want to live in.

We upgraded our room after the booking and it had the size of an apartment, with breathtaking views from the 3rd floor and large bathroom. The interior design has a unique style overall, perfectly balancing modern and traditional influences. Staff was extremely friendly and helpfull all the time, e.g. helping us to book a rental car (which you need here). Baisha beach is just a 5 minutes drive away.

Lovely place, really nice view on the ocean, spacious Balcony (we changed room from the second to the third floor, room on the second was bigger but we liked the view from.the third more). The host is amazing, with help from google translate it was a nice talk with her. Only a few restaurants nearby (mainly seafood) but the 7-11 is just a few minutes walk away and the public bus stop to reach the Kenting Nightstreet is a short walk (or you rent a scooter/electric scooter) just at the neighbouring place. Swimming and snorkeling is possible too and the Sheding&Kenting National Park is a 10 Minutes drive away. When we come back to Kenting we will stay there for sure. Soundproofing is really good (you hear nearly nothing from the street when the balcony door is closed) and the ac is not too loud.

The owner and their employees are very attentive and helpful. Breakfast was great and for a few days they were willing to offer me breakie-to-go according to my needs which was incredibly nice. It’s definitely a great choice and will come back for sure!
