Attractively situated in the Shimogyo Ward district of Kyoto, Hotel Traveltine Kyoto Kiyamachi is situated 1.1 km from Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan Conference Hall, 1.7 km from Samurai Kembu Kyoto and 1.7 km... The staff here are literally the most decent, warm and genuine people I have ever met at a hotel. One particular lady at reception made a lovely origami note for my daughter concerning her broken arm that was in plaster in a sling.

Beppu Hatto Onyado Nono Beppu is set in Beppu, 20 km from Crasus Dome Oita and 12 km from Oita Station. Featuring a restaurant, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Comfortable but with very tiny rooms. Unusual experience {which we liked} for a big hotel is that you must not wear shoes at any place in the hotel. All floors are carpeted with tatami mats, which are beautiful, but since this hotel caters a lot to tour groups, the front doors become jammed when a bus comes in and people must remove their shoes. Tour groups also bottleneck at the elevators and restaurant. Breakfasts looked great, but we wouldn't go when tours were lined up. Excellent coffee always available. Outdoor onsen was tiny (maybe 3 meters by 3 meters). Indoor onsen was large enough, but not hot enough. Great location with lots of restaurants nearby. Fantastic English-speaking staff. Dormy's HR Dept know their stuff. We'd stay again, despite the small rooms and small onsen. Visit the very old downtown onsen, Takegawara, , a must, and the seafront walk, Good bakery (Mermaid) at the train station. Liveely downtown area.

Literally everything was amazing about this place. Location, size, quality, cleanliness and ease of access were all exceptional.

Situated in Aso, 33 km from Egao Kenko Stadium Kumamoto, Fairfield by Marriott Kumamoto Aso features accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking and a terrace. Great location, right next to Aso station. Despite this, very quiet. Very helpful staff. Although no food options, there were a couple of microwaves etc. in the communal area, with lots of seating and tables.

Well situated in Kyoto, KABIN Taka offers air-conditioned rooms, a fitness centre, free WiFi and a garden. This 4-star hotel offers luggage storage space. Wonderfully clean and spacious . Good and friendly staff . The location was near all my favorite places .

Attractively set in the Nakagyo Ward district of Kyoto, insomnia KYOTO OIKE is situated 1.2 km from Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan Conference Hall, 1.5 km from Nijo Castle and 1.8 km from Samurai Kembu Kyoto. A lehető legjobb elhelyezkedés (két metró találkozásánál), mégis egy hagyományos, kis utcában. A szoba ugyan szűkös, de elégséges, minden berendezés kifogástalanul működik. Külön tetszett, hogy a recepciónál lemezről szólnak a régi klasszikusok. És tényleg lehet biciklit bérelni - ingyen.
