This beautifully designed property may not be large, but it’s incredibly well thought out, clean, and packed with everything you could need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It truly felt like a home-from-home with a touch of luxury. The hosts were warm and welcoming, making us feel right at ease from the moment we arrived. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, far beyond the basics, which made meal prep easy and enjoyable. The outdoor bathroom was a real highlight—tastefully decorated and adding a lovely, tropical touch to the stay. After a few days exploring with the kids, the washing machine was a real lifesaver! The bedrooms and living spaces are stylishly and thoughtfully decorated, with plenty of charm. We especially loved the garden and front porch, perfect for relaxing in the mornings or unwinding in the evenings. The property felt very secure, and its location is excellent—just a short walk to the beach, where we were lucky enough to spot and even feed some of the local deer roaming the area, which was a magical experience for the whole family. There are lovely local bakeries nearby, and the house served as a perfect base to explore Trinco and the surrounding areas. Without a doubt, this was one of the nicest places we stayed at during our time in Sri Lanka, and we wouldn't hesitate to return. Highly recommended for families or couples looking for a peaceful, well-appointed retreat near the beach.

The infinity pool with jacuzzi is great fun when you don’t want to swim in the sea. We took a trip to Pigeon Island and snorkelled. We saw turtles and sharks as well as colourful fish.

There is a washing machine for guest use and bottled water as well as a kitchen although we didn’t use it beyond making tea. I dropped my headphone case and didn’t realize one bud escaped until we had checked out and got a message from the owner who was kind enough to arrange a tuk tuk to bring it out to me after a dive trip later that day. Truly going above and beyond.

The host was so kind and friendly recommending us fun things to do such as dolphin watching, nice beaches and lovely places to eat as well as constantly checking in on us to make sure we were all okay.
