We only stayed one night and unfortunately it was raining, however the property was lovely, we booked massages, and the room was warm and comfortable. The staff at Ara Garden Inn deserve special mention, they were so so kind and helpful throughout our stay!

The owner, Moses, completely took care of us from a to z. He organised delicious meals for us every day and went out of his way to organise the activities we wanted to do. He took us to the local market, to his other hotel in on badjawa, to the hot springs, a local waterfall and more! Rarely have we been so welcomed anywhere. He is completely fluent in English and was patient with our questions about the local area and people. Thank you Moses! The hotel is off the beaten tourist path and you are staying in a real local Floresian village. The locals are so friendly! The location on the beachfront is amazing too and you can snorkel straight off the beach. We made a last minute decision to stay here instead of in Badjawa and we didn't regret it for a second. Much nicer to be in the countryside in the calm where you can do everything that you can do from the town anyway. We didn't want to leave!

Beautiful accommodation, clean, spacious and cozy rooms with a comfortable bed, delicious breakfast, all the staff were extremely nice and helpful, good location.

Beautiful birds singing all day but so quiet in the Villa. The cafe was up high off the main thoroughfare but was fun dining and watching the locals pass by with their colourful vehicles

My husband and I had a wonderful stay with Laurence in his beautiful home. The views were amazing! Laurence cooked such a delicious dinner and we had a lovely evening of story telling and getting travel tips around Flores. Wish we would have stayed longer!

This is a once in a lifetime type of accomodation. The house is a real piece of art, open to the jungle. Everything is made and designed in very good taste, yet combained with pure nature. The house is very charming and romantic and the views are crazy. We were there for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon and had the best time. Yet, it is important to keep in mind that the house is not vey private because the way it is designed, but it is part of the magic. Take at least 3-4 nights for your stay here. There is a lot to see and to experience. Laurent is a very cool guy and a great host. Thank you!

You’ll find yourself talking with locals, bathing in forest light, and remembering what it feels like to feel. Don’t make the rookie mistake of only staying one night, this place needs time. We suggest you to stay at least 1 week. Come with curiosity. Come with love. Come with respect for the earth, and you’ll be rewarded tenfold. 🌺 Bali is for the tourists. Bukit Cottage is for the soul.

Mayo Homestay se nachází v destinaci Ruteng. V ubytování je dostupné Wi-Fi zdarma ve všech prostorách a na místě je k dispozici soukromé parkoviště. The family went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and at home. We felt part of their family. The rooms were clean and cosy. The breakfast was beyond tasty and amazing, along with the dinners they offer too. They accommodate every need and helped us find activities to do every day, giving us tour guides or advice. We did 3 nights originally and loved it so much we extended to 5 nights. We got to speak to their other welcoming family members/ neighbours and even attend the local wedding party as part of the family. Best Homestay we have had in our 6 month travel, we will be back :)

The Sleepy Lagoon Beach House se nachází v destinaci Hitokalak v oblasti Nusa Tenggara Timur a nabízí balkon a výhled do zahrady. The house was in a great location right on the beach. The bed was comfortable and the small fan provided inside the bug net made it cool to sleep. Loved having a small kitchen with refrigerator to keep some snacks, beer and to be able to make tea. Hammock on the porch was the best! The bathroom was nice and I loved the outdoor shower. Fredh, the caretaker and point of contact, was great! He arranged for food to be brought over every night for dinner and was just a short walk up the beach if I needed anything. I loved being able to swim and snorkel right out in front of the house and got to see a bunch of starry night octopuses out hunting in the seagrass when night snorkeling! I did have a motorbike that I had rented in Ende and it made getting there very convenient.
