The owner of the house welcomed us at the door, the house was nice and clean, very cosy.

Food was lovely - ate in Zephyr and The Grill. Staff very attentive and helpful. I would definitely go back to this hotel. Having use of the pool and sauna etc. was a lovely option.

Charming location, great bar/restaurant, friendly staff, comfortable rooms.

The Moorings, is charming, tasteful, comfortable and very clean. You are always warmly welcomed, the food and customer service is excellent. The Terrace after dinner is a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by.

We had a cosy, bright room away overlooking the countryside. The staff are a credit to the owners. So hard in this current situation to see such enthusiasm from hospitality professionals. They made us feel welcome and special. The hotel owners are extremely lucky to have such a good team.

It was a very clean property, cosy and comfortable. Loved the hot tub. Location to the sea and good restaurants- fabulous!

The hotel was a lovely oldie worldie place. The grounds, look out on some lovely countryside. The look on the outside of the hotel were clean and tidy. Have the access to a pool, hot tubs and outside bar and eating area, were a bonus.

The lodge was so comfortable and had everything we needed for the stay, it felt like home. The hot tub was also a bonus which I was not expecting. The included activities also meant we could keep our one year old busy

Self catering. Fresh fruit assortment and breakfast ample provided for breakfast next day. Lasted longer! Good washing up facility, microwave easy to use, toaster, kettle and coffee maker with pods provided. Room and shower room had plenty of character, with oak beams and unexpected fireplace, with imitation fire for cosiness if required. Clean and tidy. Enormous comfortable double bed. Large wardrobe and hangers, hairdryer. Plenty of electric points and lighting choice. Friendly and helpful owners. Outdoor heated swimming pool.
