They gave us a few complementary things (coconuts, bottle of wine, etc. during the stay and just seemed genuinely happy to have us! The bungalows are awesome, with A/C in the bedrooms (extremely necessary). We were with our 18 month old toddler and the following was awesome with a kid: - less than a block’s walk to the beach (chill dirt road) - ground level bungalow and fully gated property so pretty safe for her to run around - a smaller pool in addition to the big pool that she could stand in (she’s 80 cm tall) and has an umbrella so it can be fully shaded - had her own air-conditioned room (and they provided a big pack-n-play/crib) - no breakfast, but just 50 m toward the beach is an amazing breakfast place that we went to every morning (Bridgett’s Ranch - so many animals, wild and domesticated!)

There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. The holiday home also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. We spent 5 nights here and loved every moment! Your garden is the national park so be prepared for lots of animals sounds! We only cooked a small breakfast during our stay but had everything we needed and only a short walk to the town of cahuita. Our host Monica was so helpful with booking us on tours( book the night tour with Chris!!!) she was very prompt with answering any questions we had and lives close by, Thankyou Monica! The property is non-smoking and is located 21 km from Jaguar Rescue Center. Tu casa en la playa is absolutely beautiful! Clean, spacious and has everything you need! It was so comfortable too! You could spot animals outside!

Sound of nature all around in a super cozy and comfortable cabin along with the best host imaginable. The host José is as nice a person as you’ll ever meet. Cooked breakfast for us every morning in his open kitchen while we chatted about plans for the day and how the previous day had gone. He recommended restaurants, was super helpful and accommodating in every way. Can’t recommend this place enough. Whenever I return to Costa Rica, I will definitely stay here again! 11 out of 10!

This recently renovated villa is located 700 metres from Negra and 22 km from Jaguar Rescue Center. The locaton was perfect and the house itself was amazing! We stayed in the Gata room, the other two rooms looked just as amazing with two queen size beds which were very comfortable. The outside kitchen and pool area was tastfully decorated and fully equipped with everything you need if you want to prepare a large dinner or party. The pool was clean and water clear and perfect temperature. And the nature, wow! Woke up to howler monkeys every morning and the variety of birds was entertaining as well as other jungle animals, iguanas, etc.
