Guests can take in the ambience of the surroundings from an outdoor dining area or keep themselves warm by the fireplace on colder days. It was very easy to find. We stayed in the room with the private bathroom and it was excellent. It was a large room with a comfortable bed, large closet and big bathroom. There was a shower as well as a jetted tub. We had access to a well equipped kitchen, beautiful deck area and pool. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property.

Cabin is well equipped, although some lamps would improve the ambiance. Option to smoke to smoke on your deck was appreciated. The bed and pillows made this place special. Super comfortable and the pillows are premium.

Situated in French Village and only 30 km from Halifax Citadel National Historic Site of Canada, Golden Hour Villa in Peggy's Cove Rd features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. This villa provides air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. The property is non-smoking and is located 31 km from World Trade and Convention Centre. Great location only 20 min from Peggy's Cove. The house is very spacious and clean. Yes, the place is very open-concept, with one bed in the living room area and one in the kitchen area. Not sure why the complaints about privacy. Each of the beds is on it's own floor. We were totally comfortable. Beds were great and there were two bathrooms. Would stay again if we were in the area.

The home is great for sharing with family or friends, with comfortable beds, many spaces to gather or have alone time and views of the surrounding land. The owner John (and dog Sunny) is a gem. Hospitable and knowledgeable about the area, with many a great story to share. Location is great from the airport and to get around the area. Enjoyed our stay immensely.

When I go back to Halifax I will definitely book this place again.

The suite is absolutely lovely and beautifully furnished, with everything kept spotlessly clean. The host reached out via email and was always available if needed, though we never had to ask for anything because the amenities were outstanding. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches – from coffee, dips, and basic essentials already provided, to the wonderful welcome gift waiting for us. It truly made us feel at home right away. We had a great time and the location was excellent to explore Cape Breton, the Cabot Trail and go for a whale watching Trip. We wished, we could have stayed longer than two nights.
