The view from the house was stunning with the lake and imposing mountains. You could sit on the terrace and have your breakfast looking at the incredible view. The house was very well equipped and pretty. The owners were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They picked us up from the train station. It was a short walk to the lake where you could swim. The village of Traunkirchen was not far to walk and from there you can catch a boat to Gmunden. They are a few cafes in Traunkirchen too. Traunkirchen is a pretty little village. It was nice to get away from the crowds in Vienna.

The house is like in a fairy tale, beautiful sorrunding, nice and relaxing athmosphere. The balcony and the garden are fabuluous, you can enjoy the sing of the birds, the scent of the nature. Couch was very comfortable and the whole living room has fantastic view to the mountains. There are even some boardgames for bad weather times. We will come back for sure for a longer vacation!
