United KingdomEverything was fabulous, the food, the people, the room, the surroundings, the local beach. Perfect, I could not have asked for a better place to experience the beauty of Taveuni. Activities could be organised at the lodge and information and advice was always given freely. The staff there were all lovely, big shout out to Khali!! The gardens are beautiful and perfect to hang out in reading a book or relaxing (just beware of coconuts!) there is a lovely beach nearby with some food places and good snorkelling. I did some diving with Taveuni Ocean Sports (can organise through the lodge) and wow, just wow. Vinaka vaka levu, I will be back!

There is two dive shops opposite the street, but you best book ahead to make sure they can take you. At Maravu they also organise sightseeing tours to the date line and some waterfalls. The staff does everything to make sure you are having a good time, with local guides (Rafa and Karly) arranging and going with you on the beautiful trips all over the island (like the Bouma Waterfalls, Lavena Coastal Walk, the water slide etc). They are extremely welcoming, helpful and friendly and will arrange tours and activities for the many things to do on Taveuni. The food at the on site restaurant was very good too. Overall we were quite happy with the room, but it was different to what we were expecting. Most importantly we were able to sleep well and shower! The location is perfect, the staffs are amazing, the view is spectacular, its also close to Bouma waterfalls.
