This place was perfect for us. Lovely pool with comfy loungers. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Although it was self catering they can cook dinner for you and we had a delicious meal with dessert (1800 CVE for 2 people). The apartment was large and clean and well equipped. We were surprised and pleased that they had provided some breakfast provisions

Very nice place, clean, quiet and close to the beach. Good strategic spot for exploring west side of island. I would definitely go back there.

Fantastic! Unique! The location in the heart of the mountains, in an incredibly beautiful and really quiet small settlement was extraordinarily nice. Impressively maintained culture landscape and active agricultural traditions. Perfect for hiking on your own. You can hike different routes every day. Easy to find paths. Very friendly people. Really good food. I will absolutely recommend this place as very unique, and I hope to come back myself.

We were met by Lieve at the Ferry Terminal, she arranged a rental car and guided us to the villa (10 minutes from the Ferry Terminal). Lieve and Geert went out of there way to make our stay as comfortable as possibe. The Villa has been built by them with an eye for detail. The villa is very spacious, 3 spacious bedrooms, each with a toilet/bath room, in two of these rooms next to the double beds bunkbeds for two kids. In living room an additional seperate toilet on top. Also a spacious kitchen with everything you need. The swimming pool is covered every evening so it stays warm (28 Celsius). Very important in winter months, we were at some other places where swimming was only for the brave (24 C) or even unbarable (20 C).

EVERYTHING. I’ve been using Booking for +12 years and I can surely say this was the best stay ever. From the hospitality of the local hosts (Sevilha & Noa) to the kindness of its staff (Gilda & co.), the interior and outer parts of the villa, location, neighborhood, breakfast… We can’t thank enough Casa Wahnon for being the place we proudly called “home” during our week in Santo Antao. The perfect spot from which we explored the entire island. 100% recommended, and already looking forward to be back! Always, OBRIGADA.

The location was excellent within a short 5 min walk to the bustling town. Our fully self-contained apartment was well furnished, fully equipped & immaculately clean.. Gracinda was on hand to assist with any issues or problems and couldn't do enough to ensure that our stay was the best it could be - outstanding and we would return. We fell in love with the area, the island and it's people - thank you.
