I had booked and stayed at this hotel, and my experience was truly memorable. The hotel is around 7 km away from the temple and is located on Rampath, directly connected to the main Ayodhya–Lucknow and Ayodhya–Gorakhpur highways. Just a few meters away from the hotel, you can find government AC buses on Rampath that take you on a complete Ayodhya darshan tour for just ₹20, which is very convenient for families traveling without a personal vehicle. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and well-maintained, the staff was extremely friendly, and the property’s location is excellent. What impressed me most was their free pick-up and drop facility to railway stations and bus stations. Since I was traveling with my family, this service was very helpful. The owner himself even dropped me to the railway station at 2 a.m. without any extra charges, which was truly heartwarming. I have traveled to 13 states across India with my family, but this hotel will always remain special in my memory. Everything about it—the staff, the owner, the property, the rooms, and the location—was beyond expectations. If it were possible, I would give them 10 stars out of 5! This is a must-visit place for anyone traveling to Ayodhya. I will definitely choose the same hotel for my next visit as well.

Very good value of money. Main road market accessible at walking distance. High hospitality shown by staff. It has ayodhya ram temple, hanuman garhi, kanak bhavan etc. on one side and Saryu ghat, ram ki paidi, Nageshwar nath etc. on another side. This makes it easy to plan going out and coming back to hotel.

There is a very peaceful atmosphere here and there is ample space for parking and for children to play rooms are very big and absolutely clean. The staff and the owner here are very cooperative, they helped us a lot. They told us what all is there to visit in Ayodhya, they arranged a taxi for us.

    Visited Sarayu river with no time for boating, visited...

    Visited Sarayu river with no time for boating, visited hanuman mandir and then went on and visited Ram Jenma bhoomi. Beautiful temple. Wish i get another chance to visit once the full construction is complete. All of us have to put efforts to keep the temple clean and not damage any place with scribblings as is the usual practice else where. I hope it remains a beautiful and sacred place of worship for ever.

    Beautiful city and the Ram Mandir was very memorable for us also see the Hanuman gadhi and in the evening the Aarti of Saryu river was beautiful and the place of naya ghat of lata mangeshkar chowk was really beautiful ❤️

    There is no Hotel by the name " Shaily". It is a bogus .

    There is no Hotel by the name " Shaily". It is a bogus . Unfortunately , all along someone answered saying that Booking is confirmed and wanted me to pay INR 1000 advance to confirm the booking. I did pay. to my utter surprise , we had to earch for this non-existent hotel and made arrangements to stay. Hence, decided not to use Booking.com going forward

    I would suggest to go in winter season.

    I would suggest to go in winter season. I went around in august and it was very hot. I did not realize Ayodhya is going to be so hot at this time. The heat was sure a spoiler for us but otherwise since it has religious significance I would recommend a visit.

    1.If you have online pass then your darshan time is less.

    1.If you have online pass then your darshan time is less. 2. Mobile phones and bags should be submitted . 3. For darshan we have to walk at-least 500/650meters 4. If you can’t walk, paid wheel chairs available along with helper.

    Very well managed access to Ram Janambhumi temple for visitors. It certainly helps to have advance booking for temple visit (free of cost "Sugam Darshan" booking). Nice views around Ram Ki Pairi Delicious street food. Ongoing infrastructure/construction work resulting in dusty and bumpy rides on city streets. For best experience visit during winter months (it was quite hot and humid during last week of Sept)
