The food (almost too much of it) the heated pool, the spa, the drinks on the deck, the game drives, the views, rooms are super clean and fresh towels whenever you need. There really isn’t anything not to like. It was a magical restful time and exactly what we needed after a crazy year.

If you are searching through the many places to do your safari - stop looking and book MILIMA. It was incredible. We saw the Big 5 on multiple drives. Our guide, Sidney, was amazing. He made such an effort to find animals and listening to his stories and bush knowledge was a treat. Being an all inclusive, everything is taken care of for you (including two game drives each day) and the schedule is the same each day which is nice. All meals were excellent, and the pool is a great spot to enjoy a beer, cool off, and watch animals come and go. The staff were incredibly kind and always ready to help and take care of you. We stayed in one of the tents, and would highly recommend!

This was our favourite from all our accomodations we've stayed in South Africa and here's why: - Jenny & Ruan are amazing hosts that go above & beyond to make your stay memorable - Beautiful interior design of the lodge with a unique touch. They've done everything by themselves and I would immediately hire them as my interior architects :-) - Wonderful garden with great views of the Drakensberg mountains. Bushbabies might even stop by for a visit in the evening! - Possibility to do Safaris right around the corner (Ruan is also a trained guide) - Place to go for wine lovers, Ruan is also a professional in the wine field! - Breakfast is freshly prepared and delicious! We loved the fresh fruits and Musli as well as the delicious Omelettes. Also they prepared dinner just for the two of us and it was a very nice and romantic dinner!

Bottomless coffee, juice and teas. The ambiance and breakfast are was a dream to sit in and just enjoy the morning.

The tent is fairly spacious, immaculate, and well-equipped, with our unit having offered breathtaking views of the surrounding garden/forest. The wood-fired hot tub is a delightful touch, adding an extra element of fun to our stay. The Cheerio gardens, with the charming, meandering pathways through the property are absolutely stunning, teeming with lush plant life, bird species and butterflies! Some basic essentials and tasty local snacks can be found at the Cheerio café / shop. Jordan was an excellent host, sharing the fascinating history of the property and town, and provided excellent recommend ations for local activities and restaurants.
