It's not for you twee Instagramers. Influencers, stay away! This house has bucket fulls of character there is art in every corner. The giant marlin and tuna sculptures are wonderful. Then , to top it all, you have the turquoise lagoon with lovely snorkeling on your doorstep. Oh, did I mention, the sunsets are jawdropping. If soulless hotels are not your thing. Try Chalet Avea. Huahine is a beautiful island and this is a perfect corner of it.

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. Very nice and accommodating owners. They were waiting for us at the ferry dock and provided all information about the main tourist attractions.

Vaihere was an amazing host. Car rental on-site so easy to organize. Owner found us a tour that picked us up from accommodation. Laundry washed and dryer for us. This place was worth the money with the best host highly recommend. Huahine is the most beautiful place with the friendliest people
