We really enjoyed our 2 nights at the Utasa Lodge it was such a relaxing experience with wonderful views and the thick blankets kept us warm at night. And as an added bonus the kittens was a huge hit wit the kids. Thank you Raul and family for a lovely time.

They helped us with tours and fed us the most wonderful meals. Their hospitality made us feel like a part of their family. The gues house was luxurious and beautiful. I can't recommend it enough.

Transfer round trip is offered for 80 soles which is fair since it's around 30 minutes per way.

Staying on Uros Island was a truly wonderful experience. We stayed in a beautifully decorated room on the island where Walter's family lives. Walter was incredibly helpful, arranging our arrival (his father picked us up by motorboat). Throughout our stay, the family took great care of us, cooking us delicious meals, and Walter took us on a boat tour of Uros Island, explaining how the islands are built and how the community lives. He then organized a day trip to Taquile Island before we even thought of it ourselves. Walter sells beautiful handicrafts made by his family on the island. Watching the sunrise from the island's observation deck and the breathtaking night sky is an unforgettable experience.

If you want to see the Uros please do NOT book a tour book night here with Leonardo and Lina instead. There are such lovely people and offer tours themselves so you can discover their culture in a more private way and the money goes directly to a Uros family. We went on a kayak tour and were able to discover the whole village ourselves at our own pace which was great. The room was really comfortable, the view amazing and the food tasty. Lina, Leonardo and their children are great people happy to share about their culture. I feel really privileged to have spent time with them. One thing to note is that they live off grid, you only have USB ports in the room, the water pressure is low and it's a dry toilet. But they have managed to make it really comfortable anyway. We were surprised to even have hot water when we didn't have any in a hotel in town.

I honestly feel so lucky that I decided to stay at this place. The room is huge with a breathtaking view for sunset and sunrise. It’s completely quite and you feel alone with only nature and ducks around you. Carlos was such an amazing host, taking the time to explain to me the history of the lake, the culture. I was basically alone with him in the boat having a tour of the island, far from the mass tourism. If you truly want a one of a kind experience, book here and with no hesitation. Specially when I heard many people not having a good experience at lake, because they stayed at Puno or a different place. I feel so fortunate that I was able to have a complete opposite experience. My friend and I stayed at this lodge for two nights. Only one word to explain the experience: incredible (increíble!). Eddy, our host, arranged everything for us: a taxi picked us up in the centre and dropped us at the port, then Eddy took us to the floating island aboard his little boat. Once there, his mother was standing at the little embarcadero to welcome us despite the late hour; at that point we realized that our stay would shortly turn into an amazing adventure. If you look for genuine relationships and real Uros’ cuisine, made with self-made ingredients plus some of them obtained from the mainland via “barter” (exchange of goods), then this is for you. The 2-hour private tour was lovely and informative about the Uros’ culture and it cost just a little extra. We also rented the kayak for a little workout and tour around the islands, which was kindly offered to us. This is your choice if you wish to spend a few days of relax and adventure on the Titicaca lake.

Host Felix is very kind and helped us a lot to learn more about local life and history. I not only stayed at a hotel but also experienced very valuable things. Highly recommend!
