The view from the verandah was amazing. The best part of all was the pool. It was the perfect temperature. The whole place felt very homely and personal. We were extremely comfortable. One of our favourite places we have ever stayed at!

Ambong Rainforest Retreat offers an adult-only getaway amidst tropical surroundings. Located on a steep hill within the rainforest, rooms are only accessible via long staircases. The staff were supper nice and assisted us changing the room and doing late check out for free.. the lady manager was very kind and bought me cream for sunburn because I was burned before checking in the hotel

Serenely situated in the middle of the rice fields, this place offers an amazing view and a peaceful atmosphere you can't imagine. Not many places can offer you beautiful sunrise and sunset on the same spot, yet this place does 🥰 Also, as it's in the centre of Langkawi, you can easily get anywhere else on the island with a motorbike (a better way to discover and enjoy Langkawi in our experience). Well-equipped facilitiy + super helpful staff / owner brought us even more enjoyable stay. We absolutely recommend this place.
