It is a short walk from the main station away from the noisy center and at the end of a more quiet street right be the jungle. It offers a super comfy communal terrace/chill area which is decorated with a lot of personality and attention to details. From there you can watch the nature in front of you and might even catch a glimpse of the giant squirrel or other exotic animals. The room we had was cozy and very clean. Had a great night's sleep there while listening to the sounds of nature. Highlight of the place is the host Angelo, who is just an overall awesome person and who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Whether it's the chocolate cakes and tea upon arrival, serving us huge mountains of Sri Lankan breakfast every morning, letting us shower in an unoccupied room after we came back from a hike while already checked out or filling up our 5 liter water container before leaving, we really couldn't have asked for more. On top of that we had some nice conversations and received helpful recommendations. Thanks a lot for the great hospitality and hope to seeing you again.

Here you have silence from all the tourists and really can enjoy time in nature, watching animals. More than in all other tourist attractions. So this place was our highlight in whole Ella. Also the breakfast was really amazing and the woman helps you with everything. For the hikers, you can start hiking here to Ella rock easily and therefore have the chance to be there a bit more early than others from the town centre.

It was a lot of open space that allowed us to feel relaxed and be on our own The owner gave us some fantastic recommendations as well for the places to check in Ella, and the staff is absolutely lovely and amazing. They take care of you with all your requests and try to make you super comfortable

Cabins are specious, beautiful finished and very clean. We woke up every day to a sunrise which we could admire from our balcony of each cabin. The host is just exceptional! Delicious home cooked breakfast is delivered to your room every morning. We also took a cookery class at the property and were able to enjoy home cooked meal together! 10 out of 10!

Located in Ohiya, surrounded by mountains in the Horton Plains Range, Hill Safari - Tea Estate Villa mainly serves Sri Lankan cuisine. It features a shared lounge area surrounded by tea estates/mountains. The property boasts an excellent location for hiking and trekking. We loved our stay at the Hill Safari. The views were spectacular, the staff made us feel very comfortable and welcome and the room was everything we needed. The food was also delicious and they gave us many new year treats to try. They recommended some great walking routes, talking you through the route with a hand drawn map!

The cottage is spacious, comfortable, and very clean, with lovely beds and a great shower. Waking up with the truly stunning view each morning was a joy. The host is incredibly friendly and helpful. Every morning, a generous and varied breakfast was served, with something different each day. A real luxury to start the day. The house is located on top of a hill, which gives you those amazing views. It’s quite a challenging climb on foot, but the host was always happy to pick us up, even when we had our own tuk-tuk. For trips to the center, he also arranged a reliable tuk-tuk taxi without any trouble. All in all, a wonderful place to stay with a warm welcome, great facilities, and service that truly stands out. We would definitely come back.

Room is beautiful, very big space, around is nature, people are super kind, food is delicious, and possible to cook with them in their house. 2 Minutes to the river where we can take shower, also nearby the main road. to go the city center, about 1 km. Rawana cave and temple is walking distance. Booked for 1 night, extended on site as I spend very good time here, everything was perfect!
