Overall, a very comfortable, clean, and convenient stay, especially when traveling by car.

The location is a bit out of the city centre (30 min walk) but worth the stay as picturesque and quiet. The owner is very friendly. She even welcomed us with a slice of cake.

Beautifully decorated, had everything we needed. Most importantly for summer there was air conditioning and mosquito nets. Gaja was fantastic and very helpful, even helping us to order food upon our arrival. We will certainly be back!!

All that we required was provided - a comfortable bed and sofa. Plenty of storage and hanging space for clothes. Good size table and neat and tidy kitchen with microwave, toaster and coffee machine with sufficient coffee capsules for the week, under counter fridge and crockery and utensils for two. They provided all that was needed to breakfast in the apartment but there are lots of places within a stones through to enjoy morning pastry and coffee or brunch or lunch or evening meal. We counted around 20 eating places within 2 minutes walk from this apartment. The ferry pier is also 2 minutes walk giving access to the Borromean islands, Villa Taranto and further up the lake towards Locarno. The train station is 5 minutes walk from the apartment to reach Milan or north to Domodossola and Zermatt. The apartment is air conditioned which was perfect for the 30° heat when we visited. The balcony has seating where you can enjoy the late afternoon sun and then the cool of the evening complete with swooping swallows and the chimes of the church bells. We recommend Cafe Savoy at the front for great service and a friendly welcome for morning coffee and pastry. But what makes this apartment so special is the attention and help given by Giorgio and his parents who work in the leather goods shop. They cannot do enough to help with arrangements for travel or other bookings. Giorgio is a source of great advice and recommendations to make your stay here memorable. We will most certainly be back. I do not often give five stars for reviews, but this deserves every one of the five stars that I have given it

The house was recently renovated and has everything you need. Kitchen and bathroom were well furnished. The bed was really comfortable. It is a bit lost in the mountains and it can be a bit tricky to park, but it is very calm and offers a nice mountain view. The guests were very welcoming.
