The host was incredibly hospitable and welcoming. The cottage was equipped with everything needed — BBQ area, cutlery, towels, and more.

This place is awesome. Full disclosure, you are WAY in there - like, on the hillside. The road getting in is super bumpy and hilly, so not for the faint of heart nor for a SmartCar I wouldn't think. We were in a midsize crossover and it struggled a bit. But once you're in, it's awesome. There are just a couple of buildings, with the amazing treehouse as advertised, and we stayed in the smaller, newer building which is basically on its own private property or section of the larger property. 2 bedrooms, one bath, not much else, really. A small table where you can grab a meal together, couch for 2 where the kids sat and decompressed (after their time in the treehouse) while we made one dinner onsite. Which I recommend if you want a glass of wine, because I was not willing to do the drive in - and all of the gates and locks - after a nice glass of Nero D'Avola. So bring provisions with you! We read, and took note of, that gem of advice from other reviewers and it's critical. But actually the supermarket in Nicolosi is awesome (IMPORTANT NOTE: you want to the Supermercati Deco at Via della Quercia, 24/A, 95030 Nicolosi because the other ones that maps suggest are all closed) and convenient, and so that's a quick and reasonably convenient option. But we hiked, toured the lava flows, kids had a blast in the tree house and on the grounds, and we did Mount Etna one day and Aci Castello (recommend!) another day. Great base camp, nice property and building and just what we wanted to do a couple of days of convening with nature. Fun with kids.

Armando's house is on a hill in a quiet street. The room is large, you have a fridge, coffee maker and kettle. You can cook in the shared kitchen. Armando serves breakfast in a large dining room with a terrace overlooking the sea. The homemade jams are great! Armando will recommend beautiful places to visit! Thanks Armando!

Very quiet, peacefull place in the middle of the wood, but also very well equiped. Perfect contact with an owner 😊 very close to the Etna (cable car, parking etc.)

Nastanitev Mantàri Eco Lodges - Adults Only se nahaja v mestu Acireale in nudi celoletni zunanji bazen, brezplačen WiFi ter brezplačno zasebno parkirišče. Amazing stay! The room was new and clean, and having a private pool was wonderful.

Nastanitev Casetta sull’Etna se nahaja v mestu Nicolosi, le 20 km od znamenitosti trg Piazza Duomo, in ponuja sezonski zunanji bazen, vrt ter brezplačen WiFi. Ta brunarica ponuja tudi zasebni bazen. The location is good to explore Mount Etna and the surroundings areas (Bronte, Taormina etc). The host was very easy to communicate with. We didn't meet him personally but when we arrived we had a bottle of wine, chips, store bought cakes, tea as well as all the seasonings we could need to cook - that was really nice!

Nastanitev Giardino Carya - Giarre Centro se nahaja v mestu Giarre, 29 km od znamenitosti Žičnica Taormina – postaja Mazzaro, 29 km od znamenitosti otok Isola Bella in 31 km od znamenitosti Žičnica... Only one word to describe this place: magical!! We chose the house to be mid-point between Catania and Taormina to do some exploring along the Ionian Coast. The wood garden house is located behind a grand palazzo, enclosed by historic stone walls, and surrounded by trees, so you are in your own private paradise. Hosts Elena and Maurizzio welcomed us in person and showed us around. They were so kind and helpful. Downstairs is a full kitchen, large pull-out sofa, and full modern bathroom. The upstairs bedroom is large and comfortable with its own modern bathroom. Outside, we parked our car in the driveway all behind automatic metal doors. All secluded, private, and secure. Behind the house is the main thoroughfare of Corso Italia where you find cafes and restaurants. The house is also within blocks of Piazza Francesco d’Assisi where we found a laundry where we washed our clothes. Perfect. Elena and Maurizzio gave us great dinner recommendations: a delicious dinner at a neighborhood trattoria, and the nearby fishing village of Torre Archirafi and a fantastic seafood restaurant. We are so happy to have found Giardino Carya and to have met such wonderful hosts. We will definitely come back soon.
