We enjoyed multiple hikes right from the property, and the girls spent hours playing in the yard in front of the cabin, completely immersed in nature. The cabin itself was cozy and well-appointed. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the natural cross-breeze kept the temperature perfect during our stay. It truly felt like a quiet little oasis just outside the city. Our hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their warmth and hospitality added something special to our trip, and we’re so grateful we had the chance to get to know them. We highly recommend Cara’s Cabin for anyone visiting the Wexford area, especially families looking for a calm, nature-filled retreat.

The accommodation was out of this world and very handy to Kilmore Quay. We couldn’t have met a nicer host than Sandy . We received a message prior to our arrival asking what time we hoped to arrive . This was so the heating was on and the apartment were lovely and warm when we arrived ! There was a tray of scones sitting on the kitchen table , brown soda bread , brown bread , lovely Tayto crisps and fresh fruit . It’s not too often you get that on arrival . Very much appreciated . Very easy assessing the building with our key code , very clean apartment and bedrooms were very clean and comfortable . A lovely location near the main road . Overall A perfect host and property .
