With mountain views, Northern Lake Lodge is located in ‘Ezbet Ilyâs and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, bar, garden, terrace and barbecue. Some units include a seating area and/or a patio. Mangrove Camp in Fayoum surpassed all of my expectations. Arriving after midnight, I awoke to find myself in a stunning and secluded getaway. Mohammed, one of the property's owners, is absolutely lovely to chat with—easygoing and friendly. His insider's knowledge as a local provided wonderful suggestions for things to do around Fayoum. I had both breakfast and dinner on my two night stay there and found the food to be excellent and healthy. The location is so peaceful and beautiful that, on my first day, chose not to venture out of it, instead dedicating the day to relaxing and recovering from my travels. The energy that Mohammed and his partner have created at Mangrove is replenishing and what makes this place truly special. I will definitely be coming back next time in Egypt.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a heated pool, Tunis Village Chalet is situated in Fayoum Center. There is an in-house restaurant and free private parking. The place was very good indeed. It was quiet and spacious. The beds were wide. The leaving room is separate from kitchen and bedroom. No problem with the shower and hot water. The breakfast was traditional for this area: flatbread, honey and cheese. We liked it very much.

The property is beautiful. Lots of room to be around nature, right beside Qarun lake, with their own private shore. There are cute gardens lined along all the walkways within the resort with different produce being grown. A very pleasant environment to be in. Loads of activities on offer for visitors like pottery making, bread making, petting zoo, etc. The room was super spacious, greatly decorated with local design and motifs.
