Chalet Maria Interlaken is a traditional Swiss chalet with a garden, located in the heart of Interlaken. The apartment is only 250 meters away from the nearest train station and other public transport. I feel like home here. You can find anything here. Room is spacious for 3 people — look like an apartment inside. Kitchen has everything even cooking oil or a rice cooker. Bathroom even has the hand-held bidet! So detailed! And the owner is very service minded, helping us to carry 2 big luggage (20+ kg) up to our room. So, you don’t have to worry even there is no lift, you won’t have the problem. Location is something to mention. The view from the room is the river and mountain — super beautiful!!! Plus, it’s close to Interlaken West station. So, everything is so convenient.

The chalet was nice and perfect for our group of 12 (we were very grateful for the option to add an extra bed!)

It had amazing outside space which we used extensively. We had gorgeous weather and the hosts were very kind with letting us use all the outside amenities. We also arrived late enough that stores were closed and the hosts shared their wine/beer as long as we replaced it. Very well appointed kitchen with everything needed for coffee and cooking. Also received a bus pass for the time that we were there so transportation around Thun and to Interlaken was easy! The views from this property are beautiful.

Host was great and responded quickly.

The highlight was undoubtedly the short-throw projector with a large screen, which provided great entertainment throughout our stay. The presence of a washing machine and dryer further enhanced our comfort, and parking was convenient. While Interlaken is a 20-minute drive away, the scenic route alongside the beautiful lake appeared excellent opportunities to stop and take photos, making the location and the condition of the house truly exceptional. Having previously experienced less than ideal cleanliness in accommodations in Rome and Florence, this stay was particularly satisfying. One more, the bed was so comfy as well.
