Absolutely amazing owner and family. So nice and helpfull, made our stay one to remember. The place is tucked away in beautiful lush rainforest, rooms very clean and food was great. Glass room was amazing with clear view of all animals and nature. 10/10. Will come back.

The accommodation was really wonderful! Very kind hosts, great food, and the rainforest tour was super well-organized. We had many lovely conversations, and they showed us a lot. The host Buddhika is a very gracious host, we were able to see his tea fields and were welcomed in his house, he even made us homemade drinks and talked about the different kinds of plants in his garden. The pick up service was excellent and he helped us to get on the right bus. The two cottages are very beautiful, equipped with everything you need (best ac so far in Sri Lanka) and have a very peaceful view of the lake, in a short walking distance is a spot to swim. It’s near the street, which you can sometimes hear. Buddhika prepared very delicious dinners for us and provided everything we needed and more whilst being respectful of our privacy. We took a trip to sinharaja national park (1h by car and then 3-4hours in the park with a guide) for a very reasonable price and again Buddhikas service was exceptional! On the way to matara we wanted to buy some tea and he took us to his family’s factory and we got a free tour and an interesting tasting. All in all we had a great stay and a very peaceful and calming experience!
