We had a great time at the bungalow.. Close to the main areas in Nuwaraeliya. The rooms are superb and kids friendly too.. The caretaker Is also very helpful and food is so yummy.. Will visit again soon ..

The interior of the place was amazing as the place was somewhat of a modern wood home. The staff are also amazing as they were eager to help us and were super friendly. The dinner and breakfast exceeded our expectations and is one of if not the best food we had ever try. 100% recommend

The property and garden is very beautiful and very well-maintained. It's nestled in the mountains away from the hustle and bustle of Nuwaraeliya so if you are looking for a bit of peace and quiet, this is it. The manager, Manu and staff members were very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. We loved the fact that the staff members were flexible and attentive to our specific needs. We hiked Ravana Rock (moderate intensity, ~2.5 hours total), which is located close to the property. Breakfast By Chef Bandula was exceptional. The milk rice was one of the best we have ever had. The tea was also absolutely perfect. All in all, it was a perfect stay and would love to come back!

Stafford Bungalow is quite simply outstanding! We spent three unforgettable days there and will most certainly return as soon as possible. Besides the breathtaking beauty of its surroundings, and the cuisine that is out of this world, Stafford is run by the most incredibly meticulous, friendly and endearing team of staff. Spotless clean, modern room and bathroom. Spacious room. Water, coffee tea all inclusive. Great household lady. She sincerely helps you with everything. Such a nice feel. The best quilt ever. Sleeping under was so nice (given the cold weather). Generous breakfast and such friendly service. Fresh juice, excellent curd and banana crepe.

Very nice room on the top of the hill. Very nice views on tea fields and very close to the waterfall. Perfect locations. Very nice owner. We have the most delicious sri Lanka breakfast. We really recomend this place.

Nice quiet location with great open spaces, gorgeous stepped garden overlooking Gregory Lake. Our room was big, clean and had a large well equipped bathroom with powerful shower. Our hosts were excellent, very helpful with advice on area, booking our onward transport, and made us an excellent breakfast. Stayed one night and would recommend. It’s up a hill in a quieter part of Nuwara Eliya, about a 20 min walk to the town centre, but we personally preferred this to staying more central as it felt more like the countryside.

We loved it here. The hostel is a bit outside of the city, which makes it very quiet in the middle of some fields. The host is amazing. He was very friendly and considerate. When we told him we were looking for some rice and curry, he would surprise us with it the next morning. It tasted amazing. He also gave us information on how to best get around and what to visit. Would definitly recommend!
