The location was absolutly amazing. Right on top of the waterfalls. It took 1h on a beautiful boat ride to arrive. That was part of the magical. We saw Elephants, Hippos, Crocodiles, Birds and an unforgettable sunset. I belive that no other camps or resorts are located inside the park. The team was excellent and the food was very, very good. We had dinner right bellow a sky full of stars. The next day we went with the team to visit the falls (on the opposite side where the tourists usually see them).

Fort Murchison Lodge by NATURE LODGES LTD se nachází v destinaci Pakwach East a má restauraci, pokojovou službu, bar, zahradu, celoročně otevřený venkovní bazén, terasu a výhled na řeku. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve stayed in several places around Murchison Falls National Park, but this is by far the best in terms of value for money and facilities. The location is simply amazing — though it’s just outside the park, it gives you a peaceful stay without paying daily park entrance fees. It’s only about a 20-minute drive to the safari gate, so access to the park is still very easy. The food was fantastic — honestly, the best I’ve had anywhere in Uganda! The staff, especially Charles and his team, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. My kids absolutely loved the swimming pool and the play area — it kept them entertained for hours, and the overall environment was calm and relaxing for the whole family.

Hornbill Bush Lodge se nachází v destinaci Pakwach East a má restauraci, pokojovou službu, bar, zahradu, terasu a výhled do zahrady. Hornbill is an awesome place and the staff is super friendly and attentive.

Pross Residence se nachází v destinaci Masindi a nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi, zahradu, sdílený lounge a terasu. Na místě je k dispozici soukromé parkoviště. Place wasn't too far from Masindi township. Easy drive and relatively good roads. Pross' Residence is built on a spacious piece of land, with plenty of space for BBQs, lazing around the garden etc... Accommodation was quite comfortable, though I thought the mattress was too soft for me 😁. All beds have mosquito nettings. Location was also quite quiet. Didn't have issues with vehicle sounds, like in some places. We had a simple breakfast of chapatis and eggs, with fruit, and tea. Lovely hosts; Prossy and Mark (her son). They were very accommodating with our late check in and early checkout. It was also VERY affordable.

Red Chilli Rest Camp se nachází v destinaci Murchison Falls National Park a poskytuje zahradu a bar. Jen 35 km odtud se nachází Bugungu Wildlife Reserve. Wow, wow, wow....WHAT a find!! I read some other reviews while planning our Ugandan adventure and Red Chilli looked amazing. I'm pleased to say that the camp, the location, the staff AND the hippo that woke us up at 5am with a loud munch-munch-munch eating the short grass right outside the window..did not disappoint. Special mention must go to Gary, the manager of the camp, who went out of his way to assist me with an issue with my vehicle..much appreciated! However, my wife and I agree that the star of the (human) show was Brenda. From the moment we arrived until when we left, she was always friendly, smiling and incredibly helpful...an absolute credit to the camp. If you are reading this and you are lucky enough to book a stay here...DO IT. One of the highlights of our trip ..loved it.
