Staying at this guesthouse was an absolute delight from start to finish. The owner and the staff were some of the warmest and kindest people I've ever met, so welcoming, genuinely friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. The owner even gifted each of us beautiful bukhoor before we left and waved us goodbye until we were out of sight. It felt like leaving family. They went out of their way to help us find an adapter we needed, and little touches like complimentary coffee and dates always available at the reception made us feel incredibly at home. The terrace offers a stunning view which is perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring or for enjoying sunrise. The guesthouse itself is impeccably clean, tastefully decorated in traditional Omani style, and has everything you could possibly need. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of old Nizwa. You can easily walk to the souq, the fort, and all the main attractions. It’s also just a short stroll from where the Mwasalat Muscat–Nizwa buses drop you off. This was truly one of the most memorable stays of my life. The hospitality, the atmosphere, the comfort...everything was perfect. I will absolutely stay here again when I return to Nizwa. Highly, highly recommended!

The host was very friendly and helpful. The stay is at the vantage place near the fort and the market. It was a very comfortable and beautiful place to stay.

Super new hotel with a fantastic view right from bed (you could see the sunrise). The owner and his worker Ram are both really friendly and helpful with everything you need. We had breakfast and dinner there, which were both nice. Being 2 minutes away from the balcony track was also a plus. The surrounding area seems still being authentic and the only thing you hear are goats and sheep.

Bait Almuallem By Nomad se nachází v destinaci Nazvá v regionu Ad Dakhiliyah. Jen 300 metrů odtud je Pevnost Nizwa. Krásný zrekonstruovaný dům v centru Nazvá. Pohodlná postel a příjemné povlečení. Velmi pěkná terasa na střeše domu s výhledem na město. Parkovali jsme na centrálním parkovišti, které je zdarma a prostorné, od ubytování je to asi 8 minut pěšky - ale měli jsme pouze malá zavazadla, tak nám nevadilo je nést. Snídaně v nedaleké kavárně byly dobré, přiobjednaná káva byla vynikající. Trochu byl zmatek při objednávání, protože jsme nedostali žádné informace, jak jsou snídaně nastavené (objednáte si ze dvou druhů + čaj - to je v ceně, případné další nápoje,.... za standardní ceník hradíte).

Přes počáteční potíže způsobené dopravní zácpou a uzavírkou v den příjezdu do hotelu z důvodu konání kulturní akce ve městě Nizwa (majitel hotelu nás předem varoval, ale přečetli jsme si to pozdě) nám tento hotel opravdu vyrazil dech. Škoda, že jsme zde strávili v podstatě jen několik hodin, protože to je kouzelné místo pár metrů od historického centra. Majitel na nás ochotně počkal do příjezdu, poradil nám spoustu typů kam se vydat a kde se najíst. Opravdu jsme litovali, že musíme jet dál. Krásná, stinná zahrada, stylové vybavení pokoje, vše čisté, parkování ve dvoře. Budeme rádi vzpomínat.

Ahmed's Al Shuruq Stay is located around the beautiful mountains in the quaint little village of Al Hamra. Let me start with how he is an excellent, gem of a host to all the guests, he treats everyone like family! He welcomed us very warmly into our room which was named after Misfat Al Abriyeen. It was a very well furnished, spacious and comfy room that was actually prettier in person than in the photos! The bathroom was neat and the beds were comfortable. All the amenities were readily available, there was even a kitchen accessible to all guests. Throughout the stay, Ahmed was only one WhatsApp Message away. He was incredibly helpful and also drove us to show his village and even went the extra mile to take care of my sister who fell ill during the journey. The stay is very close to grocery shops, fuel station and restaurants and over all is a very safe place. Al Hamra is a beautiful, calm and cozy place nestled between the mountains and has the kindest people. I loved it there and will definitely visit again! I would 10/10 recommend Al Shuruq Stay, it has the best location, rooms and host in the town! 🫶

The house was extremely cozy, spotless, and beautifully decorated with the perfect blend of traditional charm and modern touches. The swimming pool was sparkling clean and very inviting. Inside, there were two lovely outdoor seating areas, both thoughtfully designed, plus a charming swing that added a playful touch. The location couldn’t have been better—right in the heart of the main area. It’s only a 2-minute walk to Alaqer Wall and about 7 minutes to Nizwa Fort. There are plenty of cafés nearby and even a small supermarket just around the corner, which was very convenient. We received a thoughtful little gift after check-out, which made our experience even more memorable. I highly recommend this place for families or groups—it’s the perfect spot to relax, feel at home, and enjoy exploring Nizwa to the fullest.

We had a wonderful stay in this authentic Omani guesthouse. Everything was great from the first moment, our host Hamza was so friendly and helpful, he went a way beyond of what would be expected. The guesthouse is located in a beautiful oasis between old and new Al Hamra, there are great views and a lot of things to do around. It's an ideal starting point for exploring the mountains and historic towns nearby. There is also a lovely cafe joined with the guesthouse. The breakfast and dinner provided were excellent. The whole place is built and designed in the traditional style. It was our best stay in Oman and we would love to come again.
