This is one of, if not, the BEST homestays I’ve ever stayed in on my travels. The private bungalows were spacious, clean, hot water, a good mosquito net and an added bonus of having a kettle in the room. This being said, the thing that really made my stay was the owner and his family. He was so kind and helped with anything I needed without being too pushy or forcing anything upon me. He truly wants the best for his guests and, as a new business, is learning every day! Sharing family dinner every night, his wife’s amazing cooking with huge portions and his incredibly cute and cheerful daughter - thank you so much for leaving a great impression of Cambodia on my last few days here♥️😊

This was by far my favorite experience in Cambodia. Living with this amazing family was so exciting! Now, you can’t be expecting luxury, 5 stars etc, but when you’re ready to fully dive into a local family’s life & home, then look no further. Pov and his wife & kids are so welcoming & kind and try their best to make your stay perfect. I didn’t have time to do big jungle treks, so instead, Pov took me around the area, visiting the best spots, and let me hang out with him and his friends in the evenings! Him and his wife also made sure I wasn’t starving, and even cooked vegan meals for me. I loved my time here and would definitely come back! Maybe in the future! Choul mouy my friend!

The owner organized a trekking tour for a really good price for us and gave me info on things to do in the area. When I left I forgot my raincoat in the van and it ended up going back to Banlung. I contacted the owner and he made sure it got delivered to me :)

Happy Homestay Banlung & Trekking nabízí restauraci, zahradu, terasu a bar. Yeak Laom Lake se nachází 4,2 km odtud. It was really nice staying at Happy Homestay ! Stayed there two nights, the owner will help you with anything if needed. You also have the possibility to do a one day hiking and tour which was great ! I recommend 100% this place if you want to stay if Banlung !
