I stayed at BimBan's for 8 nights, and these are what I liked: 1. First of all, the host is very nice. This was actually my first time using Booking.com, so I had a lot of questions and requests, but they always tried to be helpful and responsed with kindness. 2. The location. This house is not located at too crowded place, so I could always take a peaceful rest. However, this doesn't mean it's inconvenient to get to tourist spots or urban areas—rather, most of the spots can be easily reached within 10-20 minutes. 3. The house itself. Neat, cozy, clean, safe(locks on every door), quiet, pleasant and comfortable. The kitchen also has proper utensils. 4. Last but not least, easy and convenient check-in and out procedure. Couple friendly as well.

Dipankar is a great host. He will help you with whatever you need. Nice family, nice people. Rooms are basic but get the job done, with a common area where people can socialize. He has another hostel with the same name in Shillong that is also worth visiting. Free filtered water and easy to reach from the bus and train stations. Good local food, buses within walking distance too. Would recommend.

The place was very homely and very welcoming. Mr. Narayanji was very kind to help us with all the needs. Although our journey was delayed, he had kept us dinner ready and the rooms very all cleaned and warmed with heaters as we had informed that we had kids travelling along. The food provided there was just so homely and was local delicacy. This is located 500m from the main bus stand where you can get pretty much everything(major market too). He was kind enough to arrange the Safaris and instructed the drivers to take us to the areas where the spotting was prime. The two night stay was very much budget friendly and was surprised as we visited during the season and he did not take us for a ride unlike other places. He genuinely promotes tourism.

This hotel was in the location where we wanted to stay, we stayed only for one night but the place was quite and peaceful, with no disturbances, the owner and staff were very nice, room and bathroom were very clean. Every thing like AC, fan,geyser and TV works fine. Had a great stay and look forward to stay in future if we have to stay in Guwahati.👍👍👍👍👍

The room was clean and spacious yet cozy. Extended my stay, no unnecessary formalities, seamless experience. All the facilities mentioned were provided, AC, free WiFi, geyser, free RO drinking water in the common area, kitchen, fridge, tv. Overall a great deal for this price range with a helpful host.
