We had a fantastic stay at GD Homestay. We arrived very early in the morning, and although our room wasn’t ready yet (as they were waiting for a guest to check out), Anitha kindly cleared out a room in her own home so we could rest for a few hours. She was incredibly warm and accommodating. The rooms were spotless, the linens smelled fresh, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. They also provide a water dispenser with free drinking water, which was a great touch. Before heading to our liveaboard in Raja Ampat, we stayed here and again on our return. They generously let us store our luggage while we were away, and when we came back ten days later, our bag was already waiting for us in our room. Overall, a genuinely welcoming and comfortable experience—highly recommended.

Mansuar Raja Ampat Bungalows se nachází v destinaci Kri a nabízí zahradu, sdílený lounge, terasu a bar. This was the first place we stayed at in Raja Ampat and it was hands down the best experience, best people, prettiest snorkling right from the jetty, great views, awesome bungalow with its very own terrace, large bed with mosquito net, loads of room to put away your things, hang your clothes etc. Daily food was delicious, fresh drinking water provided daily and the showers/toilets were clean and spacious. Ringo made sure everything was running smoothly, everyone's feeling happy and having a great time. It was a super cosy, lovely stay that felt right at home. Bonus points for evening guitar sessions. You can really feel the care and effort that's been put into creating this place ❤️ Will definitely be back!

Our stay at Terimakasih Homestay was absolutely fantastic! The location is perfect, with a stunning reef right in front of the property – ideal for snorkeling and enjoying the marine life. The food was delicious and freshly prepared, offering a delightful variety of flavors every day. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel truly welcomed. The owner, Mario, was very responsive and helpful. The rooms and common areas were clean and tidy, reflecting the homestay's commitment to providing a comfortable environment for guests. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the beauty of Raja Ampat with top-notch hospitality! We are coming back for sure.

Wai Resort - Raja Ampat se nachází v destinaci Pulau Birie a nabízí zahradu, soukromou pláž, terasu a bar. This resort is exceptional. Of course it’s more money than the usual homestay however, the value is there. The entire resort is extremely well managed, maintained and is staffed with very professional employees. The beach hut is spacious, well laid out and steps away from the Wai reef. My son and I swam with turtles, stingrays, cuttlefish and thousands of other fish! We enjoyed getting to know Siti and Hana. They served our delicious meals everyday. They are friendly and cheerful, will know your name from the start. When I booked this resort, the owner/manager was responsive right away and throughout. The resident manager Restu is excellent also. I have food allergies and they accommodated me without issues. Restu coordinated our pick up from a different homestay an hour away and our drop off back to Sorong after our stay. The transportation was punctual and professional. If you love sunsets, sunrises and the night sky - you will get your fill here. They are seen very well from the main dock.

Amazing view to sunset at the balcony but even from the bed, bed was comfortable and toilets are shared but close and clean. Food was delicious made by Peni and the host Adin is super kind and resourceful

Batanta Panorama Guest' Hause se nachází v destinaci Pulau Batanta. Toto ubytování se nachází u pláže a poskytuje soukromou pláž a terasu. We stayed at Panorama guesthouse for a week during low season and it has been amazing. James and his family always went an extra mile to make us feel at home and to help us with moving around Batanta and organising our trip in a fast and reliable way(including picking us up from Waisai and taking us to Sorong). We felt welcomed and taken care of.  The house is basic, but fully new and spacious, they cleaned it every three days, they changed bed sheets, mosquito net is new, comfortable bed, there is everything you need.  The food was always freshly cooked, tasty and abundant. We always had veggies raw and cooked, rice, noodles, fresh fish/tempeh and tofu and fruit. They gave us fruit and little cakes as snacks, coffee and tea are always available. Breakfast was also good and satisfying.  The private beach is just heaven, quiet and relaxing. There is a great coral reef right in front of the house, we saw many fishes and a baby shark. You can see sunset and sunrise directly from the house.  You can visit the small village next to the house, 5 mins by walk. There is a diving center (gears top notch) 20 mins far by boat where we had a great night dive.  We would definitely recommend this place to everyone that wants to live a local experience in a edenic place very off the beaten track.  It's a place and a holiday we'll never forget.  Thank you James and family for the lovely stay!

Paparisa Homestay v destinaci Kri poskytuje ubytování jen pro dospělé s zahradou, soukromou pláží a terasou. Z pokojů budete mít hezký výhled na moře. Vlastní koupelna je vybavená sprchou. Words can't describe how amazing the experience was. Paparisa is a brand new, small, private and secluded homestay with the nicest houses in Kri Island by far (compared to all the other homestays). The place has five "resort level" cosy houses with ensuite semi-open air bathroom (rare in Raja Ampat), big nice comfortable beds with mosquito net, a small private terrace in each house to relax or to watch the sunset and a small restaurant to enjoy your meals (they are building a nice sunset view big restaurant which they said will be ready by September 2025). They provide towels, toilet paper and linen so no need to bring yours. They have some toiletries but better bring some extra shampoo and shower gel for your convenience. Electricity is available almost half of the day and it is more than enough to charge anything in your room! The sea is just three meters from your door so you can easily swim whenever you want. This is also very convenient for diving or excursion's pickups as the boats pick you up straight from your door to go for diving or for a trip! Also, in walking distance you can snorkel in very amazing home reefs on your own. Paparisa rents for a small amount of money snorkeling equipment and these guys can also arrange several snorkeling trips to anywhere in the area. They also have contacts around so don't hesitate to ask them for anything you need! The communication before arrival through WhatsApp was exceptional and they have helped us a lot with our planning (the boat from Waisai to Kri arranged by them and a lot more). The food in the place is very tasty and feels like home and they are willing to cater any special dietary needs (vegetarian, vegan etc).

We had an unforgettable stay at this homestay! Luky, our host, was absolutely wonderful, he took us on so many activities and was an excellent guide, always making sure we had the best experience. His whole family was incredibly kind and welcoming. The homestay itself was beautifully decorated with care, and they even prepared a mattress on the balcony so we could relax facing the stunning view. We were warmly welcomed with fresh coconuts upon arrival, which was such a thoughtful touch. The meals were varied and absolutely delicious every day, and everything was clean, comfortable, and very relaxing. We truly had a magical time and felt at home. I can’t recommend their kindness, hospitality, and the comfort of this homestay enough!

Friwen Mangrove Eco Lodge se nachází v destinaci Yennanas Besir a poskytuje zahradu, terasu, bar a výhled na moře. This was one of our favourite places to stay anywhere! There were so many reasons why: 1. Rashid and Eka, the owners, were amazing hosts. We quickly felt like we were part of the family. Rashid is passionate about Raja Ampat's underwater life and took us on amazing tours. We saw such incredible sights. 2. The bungalows are located on a spectacular reef. You can see so much by snorkelling directly from your bungalow steps. 3. The staff were wonderful! (And great karaoke singers!) 4. There are only three bungalows so far and all the guests eat together for lunch and dinner. We got to know wonderful people from around the world. 5. We spent a week here and a week at a much more expensive resort and this one came out tops for value by far. 6. A village is nearby which was really interesting to visit. 7. Note that the location near mangroves is a positive. We experienced no significant insect issues here and the mangroves harboured amazing fish life.
