Gorgeous! Suriya guest is amazing. We have been travelling for many months with over 50 accomodations and this was our favourite. Jerad, Madushanka and the rest of the staff were incredible. They were always friendly, helpful, flexible and even entertained our baby while we were eating (game changer!) They upgraded us into a bigger room which was sooo spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Heater, blankets, bed, shampoo, even conditioner, great (European?) window frames 😆, clean and safe water. The food and drinks were delicious! I loved the hot chocolate and enjoyed it sitting at the fire place. They have books and games. They have drivers accomodation as well. Even our driver said it was the best accomodation. And they have an amazing yoga and meditation room which you can use any time. And the best part: staying at Suriya guest is supporting the Suriya foundation, which is running a special needs school in Sri Lanka. Next time we come, we will visit the school as well. Thank you for this amazing stay! (I unfortunately forgot to take pictures before it was a baby chaos room)

Best stay in Nuwara Eliya! The rooms are really nice, big, and very clean. It's super comfortable and quiet, but also close to restaurants and shops. The shower was really comfy with hot water, which was a great touch. The owner was really kind and even gave us a ride to a restaurant after we checked out. I highly recommend this place—it was amazing!

By far the best accommodation we have stayed in so far in Sri lanka. It is a bit further outside of Nuwara Eliya but this is more than worth it!! With your own tuktuk or car it is easily reachable. The room is very clean and has everything you could wish for (even netflix and prime on the tv!). The hosts are also amazing and will do anything to make your stay rememberable. The value for money is out of this world for this one.

We loved our stay at Shevyhaws, and would love to stay there again. Chaminda and his family are wonderful guests, they could not do enough for you. Breakfast was delicious and had everything from fruit, to toast, jams and omlettes to curry and roti and pancakes. Accommodation is a bit away from town about 2.5 km, but that was not a problem as Chaminda gave us rides to and from town at no cost, whenever we texted him. He recommended a delicious vegetarian restaurant. He organised daytrips with his 4x4 Jeep at very good prices including the Horton plains, and some tea plantations and waterfalls. The Lovers leap with it's beautiful surroundings is 15 mins walking distance from Shevyhaws. Shower wàs hot and powerful and bedroom was spotlessly clean and included warm cosy blankets for the colder nights. Would strongly recommend to anyone considering.

    This was one of the best decisions I made during my trip to Sri Lanka. I received a warm welcome from the staff there. The place is very clean, warm, and relaxing. The food is five-star quality—no joke. It was really delicious and well-presented, thanks to Chef Steve and the hotel manager Malinda for taking care of me during my stay, and thanks to the rest of the team, Srikant and Moghan. Location is good, there is a supermarket near band it's close to Gregory lake. There is hot water for shower.

    Very clam and quiet location and an ideal place to relax. Middle of the town has access to anywhere. Staff was exceptionally helpful for elderly ladies who went with us. Very clean rooms, good food and worth for expenditure. Also arranged a barbecue on our request at short notice without any negative attitude. Spent a good & relaxed vacation.
