Location was incredible with gorgeous views, convenient to Shizhou via a staircase for restaurants and convenience stores and also a staircase away from hiking. The room was very clean, with AC, internet, and a comfy bed. The tea tasting was great, and the operator both speaks English and fills in with translation software. He also picked me up in Fenqihu, which made getting there easier. Breakfast was also delicious. A great stay!

The son helped us carry our luggages to the 2nd floor. The place has no elevator. Our room is huge with all the basic amenities. It's got a great view from the patio. On clear days one can view the sun rise there. Breakfast was delicious and healthy. It's about a 10 min drive from the Tai Ping sky ladder. There are no resturants close by, so grab your bento from the Tai Ping old street. Highly recommended.

The bathtub is big to accommodate two persons at ease. There is a a platform on top of the roof for observatin of sunrise and sunset. Tea plantation behind the facility welcome the visit of customers, a good place to visit in the evening and at dawn, a good spot for photo taking.

The sunrise in the morning was spectacular. I would here like to thank the manager for making a dinner reservation for us in a restaurant in the next town. The place is owned and run by a family that has been rooted in the Alishan region for generations and has grown tea for decades. They will tell you whatever you want to know about the region and Alishan tea, which is considered one of the best in Taiwan and even in China. They will make you feel truly welcome throughout your stay and will help you with anything you might need. If you are looking for something other than yet another beige hotel room and continental breakfast buffet, this is definitely the place for you. Be careful, though - Taiwanese people take their food very seriously, and so do the owners! Breakfast here resembles what we in Europe would consider a two-course dinner. And it’s exquisite. In short: peaceful, relaxing, and unforgettable.
