Also important for us was the informal, almost rustic style of Dar Khedija which suited perfectly its rural location. We also appreciated the high level of hospitality: although we were there during Ramadan and although the tastes and interests of our group of five vary a lot, Dar Khedija pleased everyone. Breakfast was plentiful and included a wide range of foodstuffs. Dinner was provided each evening at our request, and we could order a wide range of dishes. For us the location of Dar Khedija was important. We were able to visit --without stress -- Dougga, Bulla Regia, the Chemdou museum and El Kef . If our stay had been longer, we would also have visited Tabarka. We reached Dar Khedija without any difficulty, but visitors should be aware that a GPS may be essential.

So glad we did! The staff are all attentive and kind, Nasrine at the front desk is so helpful and accommodating and smiling. She let us choose our room, as it wasn’t busy. They are clean one room apartments. Sheets, towels, bathroom all clean. The pool is lovely and well maintained. We had breakfast and dinner, and it was authentic and good value. I recommend the ojja, the chef’s wife prepares the spices for it herself. We enjoyed it being a quiet location. Would happily recommend!
