Richar‘s wife(Lucrecia) is the best. She always smile and she cooks the best food. During my stay, I also get to dress up in local dress and go to the community dancing party, it was so fun! About the room-you will have the most beautiful view, from the window. Don’t miss everyday morning sunrise. (You can literally watching sunrise in bed) And in the night, you can see the stars and Milky Way with naked eyes. the bed is super comfy, I had the best sleep during my trip in Peru. And they also have toilet can flash, even has hot showers! I didn’t expect there will be hot showers. That’s rare in this island. As a female solo traveler, I feel 100% safe here, I don’t even lock my door, not at all. That’s how I feel about the stay.

They showed us all over the island, answered all questions in detail and are just one of the nicest people we have ever met around the world. The island is a magical place, rarely any disturbing noises, just nature and an tranquil lifestyle. The nature is absolutely stunning. If you come to the island make sure to stay at least 1, better 2 or more nights to fully discover the island and to give your mind and soul a proper reset! Rooms were very comfy with 24h electricity and in our case a hot shared shower. You can eat lunch at the local community restaurant and Julia will make breakfast and dinner for a very reasonable price. Local crafts can be bought directly from them or from other families at the main square.These products can not be found in any other place! Just make sure to bring enough cash as there is no ATM on the island and only one little store accepts card payment. If you are in Peru or in Bolivia make sure to spend at least 2 nights here, you will not regret it!

Really cosy, clean and beautiful. Wifi and breakfast great. We had late check-in due to delay of the bus and host was waiting for us. They even arranged a take a way breakfast for early bus departure.

The best meals and breakfast we could ask for. Jose Luis and Pilar are very kind and caring hosts. Our stay was beyond any expectations. The island is real treasure, and my husband and I are are extremely grateful to have found this place.

Beautiful property right on the beach. Comfortable rooms. Host family was very friendly and helped us organize boat tours and taxi rides. Very relaxing stay. Home cooked meals were delicious.

Isaac and his wife are excellent hosts and admirable people living in the Uros community. Isaac made our trip wonderful. He took us fishing and took us on a tour around the islands. Staying here and doing these activities truly is the best way to experience lake titicaca. Dinner and breakfast were also very tasty and there was even warm water to shower! Could not recommend this place and these hosts more!
