Food was delicious: was served dinner and breakfast and snacks was provided too. The rooms was really cute and was really nice having a functional bathroom while 'camping'. They set up a bonfire during the evenings too. Great value for money. Winter evenings got very cold !

The place was well set up, with a cozy swing out front that added a charming touch. Both breakfast and dinner were decent, and the overall vibe was very welcoming. The host arranged an exciting dune bashing session and took us to watch the sunset — totally worth the extra charge! At night, you can wander off into the quiet desert, lie down, and gaze at the stars. I even spotted four shooting stars! It was truly an unforgettable experience.

We had already spent a night in a camp in the Rub al Khali which we had reached from Salalah down in the south of the country .That camp's toilets left a lot to be desired, so we were unsure as to what we were about to find in Wahiba Sands. How wrong we were. We were welcomed at the company's office at 15.00 on the dot by Hamed, who spoke near-perfect English, and gave us a short history of the country and its geography. We were then introduced to (another) Hamed who was to lead us into the desert and serve as our host at the camp. He deflated our 4x4's tyres and we drove in after him. After a longish drive through the dunes we reached the camp. It consisted of three tents, one of which belonged to Hassan - the chef- while one belonged to us. It was in an idyllic setting far from civilisation which allowed us to be fully immersed in the bedouin's culture. Notwithstanding the language barrier, the host - Hamed - was exceptionally patient, generous and welcoming. The food was great, the beds comfortable, the amenities clean and the whole activity well worth the price we paid. If anyone is interested in a genuine and immersive experience in Wahiba Sands, then this is the one you need. Thank you for a great time. James.

Getting picked up to share the tasty meals nearby was wonderful and integrated perfectly. The entire staff were lovely, especially Humied. He answered every question and was probably the funniest host I’ve encountered. I loved the camel ride and the dune bashing! The transfer was smooth as well. Well worth the added price. This place has it all and its people are lovely. I wish I would’ve stayed longer.

I was there with just 4 others. Great hiking over the dunes, peaceful, quiet. All the other camps would need to hike hours to get to this amazing spot with an amazing view. The tent its self is amazing, spacious, nice little balcony to keep cool in the afternoon. Cold shower and toilet with bum gun. Solar power electricity so can charge your phone to take photos and is 4g in the area too. the dinner was amazing freshly cooked for all. The staff, who's name I don't know how to spell were super amazing, nice and friendly, they cared about you having a good time. i am looking forward to coming back in the future.
