On top of that, they were very friendly and ready to help. There were many useful facilities in the common area I've used, like the fridge, the laundry machine and a scale. I recommend this place, as it also has good access to the metro stations.

Opened in June 2013, The Edo Sakura offers accommodation in a Japanese-style Machiya townhouse located a 5-minute walk from Iriya Subway Station and a 10-minute walk from JR Uguisudani Train Station. Free Wi-Fi is available at the entire property and guests can enjoy looking out into the traditional garden. Ueno Station is a 15-minute walk away. For our first visit Japan, this was a great place to stay. Close to the metro, in a fairly quiet neighbourhood. The bathroom was compact, but it had everything we needed. There were lifts to all the floors, rooms had electrical outlet points and we were able to open the windows and at night a blind blocked out the light. A private bath is available, which we did not use. Washing facilities are available and the staff were very helpful in all regards. Rooms were soundproof. I would stay here again!
