The location is excellent as we had friends in an adjacent building and the Brigette restaurant is a one minute walk away. The staff at check in were super friendly and helpful. We had a slight issue with our visa but the staff were able to help us out with the minimum fuss which was greatly appreciated.

Helena was a fantastic host—attentive, kind, and always ready to help. She went out of her way to make sure my trip was comfortable, and her hospitality truly made a difference. Ambleside Lodge Bed & Breakfast features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Canmore, 27 km from The Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies. 27 km from Banff Park Museum and 29 km from Cave and Basin National Historic Site, the property offers a terrace and a shared lounge. Banff International Research Station is 26 km from the bed and breakfast. It was just a perfect stay. The house is beautiful, very cozy and homey. It has everything you need. But the most important part of our stay was the hosts Annie and Bryan - they are the kindest people we’ve met in Canada. Every morning we started with an amazingly delicious breakfast and the chat with the owners. They borrowed us the spikes (and even warm socks) as it was snowy and icy during our stay. They gave us many advices on the things to do. Couldn’t recommend this place more.
