The apartment sits in a convenient part of the city with close access to the teleferico (aerial cable car system). The apartment is off a main avenue and has plenty of shops, restaurants, etc. within a short walk. The apartment building felt extremely safe with key code controlled access. The apartment is very well fitted out, in great condition and very well maintained. It had great internet and web TV. The apartment is accessed via an elevator which is great in La Paz with the altitude. Very good kitchen, washing machine which was very nice, and great bathrooms. Absolutely the best bathrooms, showers and hot water we had seen in our 5 weeks of travel in Bolivia. The apartment also had a good heater for those colder nights. Our host Nico was outstanding. Helped with everything from restaurant recommendations, coffee shops and more. He was always quick to help and assist. We would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend the apartment to any of our friends visiting La Paz.

We stayed in the hotel for acclimating and had everything we needed in the direct neighborhood.

Even after the stunning lakeside view, fantastic facilities, and the delicious breakfast, the staff in this hostel provide exceptional service with a positive attitude. What really made us love this hostel was that when we forgot a Kindle in our room and headed off to Puno without it, we contacted the staff who promptly boxed it up and booked a bus ticket specifically for the Kindle which we were then able to collect from the bus station, and wouldn't accept any reimbursement for the ticket or their service. This hostel truly has it's guests best interests at heart!

It’s a 5 min walk from cute cafes and a teleférico station. It’s very safe. The cooking facilities are great, the apartment is cute and comfortable, the bathroom is great. The in room laundry was also super clutch and there was even some detergent for use!

It has a stunning view, which literally leaves you speechless, and yes, it's worth every step you climb to get up there (believe us, you'll appreciate staying there!) From here, you'll be able to start trekking to the north, and to the Pilkokaina temple, skipping the first challenging climbing if staying around the port, and if you like exploring, there are many hills in the surroundings to visit with unbelievable views, which are not commonly visited. An additional plus: you're a few steps away from the best sunset viewpoint. BEDROOM My husband and I took the Double Room with Lake View, which has a queen bed and a private bathroom. Both areas, the bedroom and the bathroom, were super tidy and clean. Besides the basic toiletries, we were provided with two shower towels and a shower mat. We stayed 5 nights and we had cleaning service without any additional cost. The bedroom has a nice and pleasant temperature all day, and this is possible thanks to the bedroom's compact design, the wooden floor, the alpaca bedside rugs, and the hermetic windows. Also, the bed has enough blankets to keep you warm during the cold nights, which we consider important. BREAKFAST We had breakfast included, and we can say it's exactly what someone needs to yield physically while exploring the island, and of course, natural ingredients & yummy! (Basically: local herbs infusion, tea or coffee, natural orange juice, scrambled eggs, butter and jam, local bread).
