Our experience at Veli Vilaa, nestled on the enchanting island of Dhiffushi, was simply unforgettable and utterly breathtaking. The villa's direct beachfront location works its magic the moment you arrive, instantly melting away every trace of the journey. All that remains is you, the mesmerizing ocean, and a delightful flurry of hermit crabs and other crabs in every imaginable shape, size, and vibrant color, scuttling playfully across the powdery white sand. The villa itself is thoughtfully designed with four bedrooms, each boasting a private bathroom and separate entrance. Two rooms are situated on the ground floor, featuring expansive glass doors that open directly onto the beach, comfort reigns supreme within the villa. The spaces are clean, invitingly comfortable, and the bathrooms are spacious and equipped with showers. Out on the beach, you'll discover swings, hammocks, cozy daybeds, and everything you could possibly desire to while away the hours in blissful idleness, gently lulled by the soothing melody of the sea until the spectacular sunset paints the sky. However, what truly elevates a stay at Veli Vilaa to something extraordinary are the people. Sujon, the head of staff, and Monda, the villa manager, were absolutely fantastic. They were consistently available, always smiling, and remarkably attentive to our every need. We also must mention the incredible Shimul, the chef, who delighted us every morning with tasty fresh fruit juices and was always ready to prepare delicious meals at any time we requested. The accommodation is located on an inhabited island, filled with countless charming and lovable details. For instance, I really appreciated how the entire team was young, energetic, and laid-back, yet still striving for professionalism. Upon our arrival, we were welcomed with fresh coconuts and a guided tour, and we didn’t have to worry about our luggage. The accommodation itself is enriched with many small details: the parrots in the garden, the stunning landscaping, and the most beautiful beach on the island. Moreover I have to follow a special diet, and the hotel went above and beyond to ensure my meals were as convenient as possible. Every morning, they provided a variety of options tailored to my dietary needs, which I truly appreciated. The breakfast was plentiful, fresh, and they always made sure there was enough of everything.

The location is literally next to the beach, in the best spot on the island for me. The manager was so nice and kind and gave us some good tips! All staff were helpful and friendly! They offer for free umbrella, sunbeds, snorkelling glasses, flippers and canoe.

We loved our stay here! The location was perfect, we had everything we needed. Breakfast is provided at Nirili Villa and they were always super helpful and kind! I have seen in other reviews people unhappy with not having any cleaning/changing towels etc but this did not bother us, as it is not a hotel, more like an Airbnb. It was nice to know when you locked the door, everything was safe and would be where you left it. The aircon worked well and it was great having a kettle and a television! This was the cheapest accommodation on the island and it was absolutely excellent - we are so sad to leave and would recommend this stay to anyone! If you want more of a hotel service then stay in a hotel. If not, then this is absolutely the place to be! Thank you!

    Pick up from and drop off at the harbour Free welcome dinner For some reason we could only book halfboard for half of the family. Nirili villa offered halfboard for the others for a very reasonable price. If you want to exchange a lunch for a dinner, I am pretty sure Nirili Villa will accommodate that. Maledivian buffet Free water, tea, coffee, laundry. Friendly staff. Etc..

    Very helpful and friendly staff. Helped with everything. I felt very comfortable and taken care of. They also gave insight to local life. The food is amazing. Breakfast was always fresh and there were a lot of options. If I come back to Dhiffushi I will definitely stay at Nirili Villa again.
