We really enjoyed our stay in the Nguni cottage which was really spacious, wonderful decorated and well equipped. The braai area was very convenient and the supplied items for the breakfast plenty. It is unbelievable that such a quiet, green and secluded place exists just a few kilometer outside of Gaborone. Highly recommended!

I loved the property very much, definitely worth every penny. It’s in a safe complex with security, the apartment was very neat and had everything, and on top of that it was very quiet and the Neighbour’s were friendly. Location is a definite 10/10. Everything is close and accessible. You can walk to the nearby mall, Game City, with ease. Every other spot is a short cab drive away. The place itself is lovely with scenic views of Kgale Hills and the dam. Not only is it clean and comfortable, it feels homey. The owner and property manager are super helpful, have great communication and overall elevated our stay by being patient and understanding. Our luggage was rerouted in transit, and arrived three days after we did. They made an uncomfortable situation manageable. Enjoyed our stay and would book again!

Great location with a fantastic view, especially from the rooftop bar/restaurant. The apartment was stylish, very clean, and had everything we needed, including secure parking. The bed was huge and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

    Where to start? We were upgraded to the deluxe villa - absolutely stunning. The attention to detail - immaculate, exceeded all expectations. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Had a bush view and an allocated private picnic spot on the water a short walk from the villa. Even a supplied a fully equipped picnic basket. Electric blanket a pleasant surprise for the 4 degrees overnight temperature. Continental breakfast in the fridge the rest is self-catering however Zorro's restaurant close by.

    Kingfisher Villa at Waterside Cottages is a Gem of a find! The Villa is spacious, private and beautifully located. It really felt like home from home! The Breakfast selection which was left for us in the fridge was perfect. We loved the Splash Pool and the Showers!

    The estate is located in the bush next to the village, and has an amazing view. Our house Marula has all the necessary equipment for both short and long term stays. The hosts are very friendly and nice people. We really enjoyed our family time and hopefully will be back again.

    We stayed in the Kingfisher Villa and it was stylish and had everything we could possibly need. We loved the bread that was provided for breakfast. The rest of the breakfast was also perfect. We regretted that it was winter and we couldn't try out the plunge pool. We enjoyed our overnight stay so much that we stayed at Waterside Cottages again on our return trip in Nguni Cottage and enjoyed it as much as the Kingfisher Villa.
