Gohar and Manuk and also their three daughters are real treasures. They are very nice and pleasant and also talented people. They welcomed us not as guests, but as real relatives. Gohar and Manuk's home cooked food was absolutely delicious and Manuk's wine and vodka are world class. In LiViTi, everything is real and wonderful, but the best thing are the hosts. We really liked our host Volodya, who is aged, but experienced local resident from Areni. He is as Armenian as you can get and he can tell you a lot about life in this country. Wine lovers will especially like him as he takes I guess every guest to his wine cellar. We were curious about details of winemaking and fruit growing and he took time and explained us all. You need a bit of Russian for that but not much, there's a lot you can explain with one word and two hands. Theory is one but with Volodya is also practice as he insist on you trying all four sorts of his wine and they taste awesome. And all that was just a preface to his dinner which was phenomenal. We ate sashlik barbecued meat and fresh vegetables from his garden and it was delicious. We had quite a cultural evening with Volodya and we would sure want to stay more than one day which I insist you must, even though Areni seems a bit backwater village, but part of Armenia experience is also that and Volodya is a great guide for those.

The house is modern, very nice. Room was comfortable, clean and tidy. The guests could use shared kitchen and a large living room. Nice view from the terrace. The host is incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was gorgeous. We were recommended to have dinner at "gastrohouse", which was a great experience. Location is excellent, just a few kilometers from Noravank. Could recommend.

The owners are such lovely and friendly people. We had a very nice time in the evening getting to know each other. The b&b is very nice and perfectly placed in the centre of Areni. Our room was very spacious, bright and well heated. Everything needed for a confortable stay was provided, even a welcome tea. We really felt like being at home, thanks to the owners true armenian hospitality.

It is situated near the village's centre. There is a store a few metters away. The rooms were quite comfortable, equiped with own bathroom, one of the rooms had a small fridge. The communication was very fast. The landlord was very communicative and helpful. I highly recommand to taste the homemade food (breakfast or dinner) and the homemade wine and honey. The location is very nice and the stay was one of our best.

great place to leave our things and cycle up to noravank unloaded, sonia is very nice, the bungalow is great, there was only other couple in the next room, i just recomend you dont turn the lights at night too much because the bugs can pass in between the narrow gaps of the mosquito net
