The owners were very kind during my stay and helped me with any questions I had. The hotel itself is based in a quiet area about 25 min walk from the city centre. I was travelling solo and I enjoyed the walk around the area. There are also some nice restaurants and a laundry nearby.

Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the mountain and garden. I am very satisfied with MER Guest house. Everyone was very nice and polite. Room was nice and very clean. For me, location was great because it's on a hill surrounded by wood so it's very quiet and it is only 100 minutes walk to old town. There is a parking in the street next to guest house.

Hotel staff was really, really nice. Room has balcony with flowers.... love it ! overall very very good hotel and clean. Price, comparing with other B&B and hotels in that town, the best deal. Bus station is right there, also. We travel by bus while in Romania, so this detail was very important for us.
