Place was clean including kitchen, common area and bathroom. There was a heater available which was good for the cold nights in Puno and hot water in the shower. Giovanni was friendly and helpful and made sure I got what I needed, like keeping my bag there after checking out. Breakfast was simple of bread, butter and jam with coffee/tea. Location is also good, located close to the main square.

Hostal Vista al Lago Titicaca Puno se nachází v destinaci Puno. Estadio Enrique Torres Belón je 2,3 km daleko a Puno Port 1,9 km. Everything was excellent. Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Nice bathrooms and super hot shower with plenty of water pressure.

Mario greeted us at the port and walked us to his home. Excellent location close to the center where lunch is served daily. Mario made us nice breakfast and dinner daily. Great location to walk and enjoy the scenery.

This was a wonderful place to stay. It’s a family home and they really make you feel like family. The breakfast is so filling and has the best view of Lake Titicaca. It is a little away from the plaza but only about a 15-20 minute walk. Not bad at all. The walks helped me acclimate to the altitude much quicker. However, if you need a ride the host is more than happy to drop you off and pick you up. He even was gracious enough to pick me up from the bus station when I arrived at 4 am. The family is the best. He also helped me book a tour to the floating islands as well as a night stay on Amantani. Honestly, this was one of my favorite stays in Peru so far. Whenever I come back to Puno I will definitely come back to stay here. The room gets a bit cold but they have a little radiator that warms the room right up and the bed is very comfortable with an incredible view to watch the sunrise and set over the lake.

Ilda, his sister, and mum Juana delivered amazing local food, dish after dish of local food. With comfy beds topped with llama blankets, we had an exceptional stay. From sharing English phrases for Quechua with Ernesto to drinking local tea, watching the sunsets, to hiking the local trails, I can not recommend enough.

The owner was very helpfull from the start. I accidentally bought the wrong bus ticket and she actually came with me and helped me get a refund. And she made sure i will catch the right bus. She is a lovely person
