I recently had the pleasure of spending a night at a desert camp in the Merzouga Desert, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and the excitement of being in the heart of the desert. The camp is set up beautifully, with traditional Berber tents that are surprisingly comfortable, complete with cozy beds and all the essentials. The real highlight of the experience was the breathtaking sunset over the dunes, followed by a starlit sky that was unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. The dinner served was a delicious mix of traditional Moroccan dishes, and the staff was incredibly friendly, sharing stories and music around the campfire. The camel trek to the camp was an adventure in itself – a great way to experience the vastness of the desert. Located in a charming, authentic Moroccan village, away from the main hustle and bustle, what Martine and her helpers provide is a truly unique experience. From the beautifully decorated rooms and the peaceful garden setting to the delicious food and genuine hospitality — everything is done with care and heart. Her dogs are very friendly and even joined us on our stroll through the village. We are grateful for the opportunity to discover this oasis. Thank you, Martine!

The trip into the desert by camels was one of the best moments we had in Morocco. The luxury camp is very comfortable with all you need for a desert stay, Sunset and Sunrise with sandboarding over sand dunes it's worth it. Thanks for the evening music and tasty food!

This is a great place to stay in Agoudal, El-habib is truly an excellent host. He cooked us a really delicious meal, one of the best we've had in our time in Morocco. He also made us feel welcome and gave us an insight into life in Agoudal. Overall we had a great experience here and we'd totally recommend it.

Lots of cool character inside the doors, plenty of living spaces to chill and eat dinner which the hostel staff can accommodate for you. Mustapha was super responsive via WhatsApp before our stay which I really appreciated and the staff at the hostel were unbelievable. Super Kind, caring and really made you feel at home. That was great. =] Location was unreal also. Eating breakfast on the top terrace overlooking the Merzouga dunes was incredible. Abdul also help us organise a 4x4 tour around the dunes and the area last minute with his cousin and friends which again was epic. Thank you for this. To top it all off, the wonderful lady running the kitchen even did our laundry for us. So amazing to have a washing machine to be able to do our washing (as it was much needed for my wife and I). Another plus + plus + plus + for this property, Mustapha and his team.

Maison D'hotes Sahara se nachází v destinaci Aoufous a má zahradu, sdílený lounge, terasu a bezplatné Wi-Fi ve všech prostorách. Ubytování nabízí nepřetržitě otevřenou recepci a restauraci. The place is an Oasis of calmness in the Oasis of Ziz. Enjoying the sunset and sunrise on the rooftop balcony is a unique experience! We spent only one night there but wished to stay longer! If you stay there I can recommend to have dinner at this place. The dinner was very good with specialities we haven't found in other maroccan places.
