An amazing place with a unique vibe unlike anywhere else. Impeccably clean and incredibly pleasant to stay in. The bathroom was fully equipped, and the small fridge was a great bonus. The entire complex is simply stunning – beautifully maintained and full of character. And the breakfast… the pumpkin porridge and sandwiches will stay in my heart forever — absolutely delicious. Highly recommend! Oh, and just to add — the thin mattress was surprisingly comfortable. I had a 10/10 quality sleep!

The space is tidy and quiet; I liked that you can’t hear the other travellers. It’s in a great location and suitable for folks who want to stay away from the downtown area and hotel towers.

Great stay in Gyeongju. The host greeted us, and made sure we were comfortably settled in. She was also very responsive and kind, and helped answer all of our questions over text. She had welcome gifts, and breakfast prepared for us for the next day. The breakfast was hearty and filling. The Hanok has great internet, and a very nice bath. It is close to the main attractions in Gyeongju, and can also walk easily to cute cafes in the neighborhood. Definitely recommend staying here, and hope to visit again soon <3

We were reticent in booking the room because of the few reviews on the app, but we did it anyway and we are so glad we didn't back out.. Our host was amazing, she personally cooked traditional food for us every morning and teached us some korean words. She and her husband were both very kind to us, speaking with us in english and telling us the best things to visit in the city. And the house was very beautifull and serene, speacially at night.

The room is very clean and the hotel is in the center of a lot of the attractions we wanted to visit. The host is really nice!! We had a lot of luggages and the taxi couldn't take us so the host took us to the station himself. We're really grateful to him and would recommend this place to anyone!! He made our trip very enjoyable and memorable 🫶! Thank you Mr. Jaeyoung!!

We were traveling for one month, and this was our favorite part of our trip! The owner is very kind and helpful, and check-in was very easy. The breakfast was delicious (especially the mushroom porridge, my favorite!) and it was so nice to have the chance to meet other travelers. The design of the space is very beautiful and the room was comfortable and clean. The location is also excellent and the neighborhood is so fun to walk around!

My sister and I stayed at Okyeon Jeongsa Pavilion beggining of April and had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect, right across the river from Andong’s folk village, surrounded by nature and blooming cherry trees. The room was very comfortable, with traditional futons on the floor, and everything was clean and well maintained. The atmosphere was peaceful and authentic. Breakfast was a highlight: a delicious traditional Korean meal served in a private room. The host, a descendant of the original family in the 16th generation, was very welcoming. A unique and memorable stay!
