I’m so happy I’ve chosen this guesthouse for my travel. The first advantage is location of course. This part of city can go by walk or by bike only so it was so important to stay in convenient area. Room wan cleaned good and everything was neat. Owner and his sons were so kind and helpful. They do all requests so good. One son of owner even helped me to go one very ancient temple very early because I couldn’t get there alone. Very good restaurant Dolphin just on the side of hotel. My first travel to Varanasi was amazing and mostly of this hotel. Probably next time I’ll stay here also. I recommend to chose this hotel

Místo je neuvěřitelně klidné. Nedaleká velmi rušná silnice není vůbec slyšet. V okolí jsou stromy a malý parčík. Součástí pozemku je i malý travnatý plácek. Pokoj samotný je perfektně čistý s vlastní velkou koupelnou. El. zásuvky, klimatizace apod. - vše funkční. Personál velmi milý a vstřícný. Nabídli i zajištění taxi apod. Cena byla vyšší, než je obvyklé, ale ne o moc a rozhodne to odpovídalo standardu ubytování.

Bharatpur vlakové nádraží je 47 km daleko. + location was top, right in the middle of everything + the Ashram is beautiful maintained, with everything that you need (different soaps provided, complementary water/coffee/tea/cookies) + unlimited hot water at any time + perfectly working ac + it was one of the most cleanest accommodation we've stayed in during our journey through india + the rooms are huge and there are three of them + the inner court was very peaceful and you have some chairs with a table, right in front of your door to have a view into the patio (many animals are located there, playing over the lawn, even monkeys are around, but they are very peaceful as vell) + the staff is very friendly and helpful. We had contact to three very nice man from the Ashram. One of them gave us a short overview about what's around and told us a little about the history. One of them asked us every day if our room has to be cleaned and if everything is all right, and Tej prakash ordered a taxi for us, so we had an easy departure. We would absolutely recommend staying at this little oasis. :D

Umístění, čistota. Pohodlí. Střešní terasa, kde jsme snídaly. Dobré snídaně. Alibaba a Ali byli moc příjemní a zábavní. Ubytovali nas dříve než byl check in.

Vishnu is one of the most genuine, caring, kind,inspiring, knowledgeable, helpful and compassionate humans we have ever met in India! Our room was perfect, we slept like babies, the water hot and pressure was awesome! Location is prime, right off the Ghats but still quiet enough to get all the rest you need! Vishnu is known for his delicious chai and heartfelt conversation! He knows everything and everyone in Varanasi and can help you plan and execute your adventures with a quickness.. He truly cares about his guests and genuinely wants the best for you! If you want to go on a real adventure ask him about his street food tour, so awesome!! Over all we loved our stay and will always choose Maa Durga and Vishna when we visit Varanasi!!! Thank you for everything!!!

Azure Family Paying Guest House se nachází v destinaci Váránasí. Kedar Ghat je 1,7 km daleko a Banaras Hindu University 2,8 km. We had a great time at Sona’s guesthouse! The room was very comfortable. There was no AC, but the ceiling fan was perfect - we slept great. The hot shower was also nice. Sona is very helpful and organized with activities around the city. She also arranged airport transportation for us, which was very helpful. We had a cooking class with her, which was great! She’s an excellent cook and her English is very good. The location was also good. Keep in mind it’s a bit of a far walk to the main area where most of the food restaurants seem to be, but it’s very convenient for Assi Ghat, which is nice for the morning Aarti ceremony and for the sunrise boat tour. Overall a great stay!

The location couldn’t be better — right in the heart of Varanasi, just a short walk from the ghats and the Ganga. I loved waking up early and taking a peaceful stroll by the river. The rest house itself is clean, beautifully maintained, and full of charm. My room was comfortable, well-ventilated, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. What really stood out was the calm and homely atmosphere — a perfect escape from the busy streets outside. The rooftop view of the Ganges during sunrise was absolutely breathtaking, and the staff even helped arrange a boat ride that became one of the highlights of my trip. If you’re looking for an affordable yet truly authentic stay in Varanasi, Banaras Rest House is the place to be. From the efficient check-in/check-out process, each moment was delightful. The secure and safe environment of this hotel will always have my heart. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, with elegant decor. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I liked the atmosphere here. We felt relaxed and welcomed from the moment we arrived. The staff took really good care of everything. It was a refreshing escape. I have recommended that others visit The Nest once, and I can assure you that they will never regret it.
