I booked this hotel for my dad since he was traveling alone. First of all the location and the construction of the building are stunning. He found great comfort and cleanliness at the property, there is also no noise from the vehicles which made it even perfect. I really appreciate how the caretaker/owner and his wife made my dad feel at home, were super friendly and easy going. It was such a pleasure to stay in this property! Everything is super clean, house is beautiful, the owner prepares dinner and breakfast and is a very kind person. Also, the house is by the boat stopping station so you can jump straight into the boat and have a tour. 10/10

The Sneehatheeram homestay is a great property to stay. The hosts are amazing and very attentive while the location is great, near the backwaters and the city. They helped us with finding a boat to take us to the backwaters and both the captain and the experience was amazing. We had breakfast included which was beyond our expectations and we loved it, but most importantly the house and the room was clean and good smelling. The hygiene standards was excellent which was a big deal for us. If you want to do the backwaters and stay couple of nights to explore Alleppey, don't think twice, this Homestay is a great option.

The accommodation is spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The location is quiet and directly on the river. You can also walk to some rice fields nearby. Food is good. The host David knows a lot about India and is happy to share his experiences. He is really helpful and arranged everything we needed.
