Beautiful building full of character, the staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome, clean spacious room, comfortable bed, tasty breakfast and all in all a lovely atmosphere. We live in The Netherlands and were traveling with 2 children (aged 1 and 4). The staff really looked after us and made sure we had everything we needed. A baby cot and comfy camp bed were provided for the kids, there were plenty of high chairs and the staff were thoughtful enough to even put some extra bottled water in the room for us.

Eveything about this was fantastic. Ian have me a call and told me all the local food, bar and sights. Room had so much detail to explore. Little treats and milk/water in the fridge. Can’t wait to stay again in future.

I was really impressed by the breakfast service. The staff were diligent, efficient, and very thorough. You always know when you're dealing with experienced staff when they don't have to write anything down. I'm pleased that there were sensible vegetarian and gluten free options available.

It was more like staying in a friends house than in a hotel. The small pub under my room had really good live music with very friendly people in the audience. Upstairs I slept in a very comfortable bed, very calm. The room was small with everythin in you need, the house is old an lovely.

Lovely place. We had a lovely room with a fabulous view of the garden. Our hosts were amazing and welcoming and the breakfast and coffee were delicious
