Situated a few metres from Sarlat's pedestrian area, Un jardin en ville is the perfect place to enjoy the city (and its surroundings had I been able to stay longer). The host was very helpful and directed me to an excellent restaurant where I enjoyed a wonderful meal. The breakfast in the morning was out of this world, I honestly would go back for that alone, cherry on the cake for an extremely pleasant stay.

The staff were all very helpful, from their son who left his Easter celebrations to let us in the accommodation and made a lunch booking for us, to Pierre who set up an early breakfast, so we could make an early train to Paris. The accommodation is a short and pleasant walk from the medieval town.

Beautiful stay with all amenities and peace and quiet. Breakfast was excellent with delicious homemade jams and curd. However, the best part of our stay was - Frank and Nelly who were amazing hosts. We arrived a little before our check in time and Frank graciously offered to pick us up from the train station and even dropped us back when we were leaving Sarlat. He also accompanied us to the car rental place and offered help wherever possible throughout our stay. Both of them always met us with a smile and were very kind and helpful. We had a great time and will definitely choose to stay here again. Thank you Frank and Nelly for such a wonderful stay.

    This bed and breakfast was perfectly placed for the medieval town of Sarlat-la-Caneda and the rest of Dordogne. Alisa and Daniel were wonderful hosts and offered great suggestion on activities and restaurants. The breakfast was fabulous with a range of fresh fruits, yoghurt and the freshest croissants you’ve ever had.
