I was checking in at 5pm but the room wasnt ready. They were kind enough to upgrade and add complementary breakfast. Its not about the freebies but going above and beyond to show you care.

CJ Residence - Opposite Public Bank Centre Point se nachází v destinaci Kota Kinabalu. Sabah State Museum & Heritage Village se nachází 3 km daleko a North Borneo Railway 5 km. Well located, clean and comfortable accommodation with good amenities. We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again. Communication with the hosts about checking in was very clear and were even allowed an early check in.

AC Residence - Behind Cititel Hotel se nachází v destinaci Kota Kinabalu a poskytuje bar, bezplatné Wi-Fi a neplacené soukromé parkoviště pro hosty, kteří přijedou autem. Big room, very clean, very nice decorated, AC works perfect, huge window, and a minifridge, located centraly, plenty of food options nearby. Still, keep in mind that the rooms are at the second and the third floor and there is no elevator.

The hostel is very clean, beds are comfy, big locker next to the bed for all your stuff and the female dorm room is spacious. The bathroom is clean, hot water and enough space to hang your clothes and towel. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Good location with cafés and restaurants around the corner. I highly recommend this hostel!

The drive to the Dragon Pearl Resort felt like we were escaping civilisation to begin with. When we stepped onto the boat the escape was complete. Three days in paradise cut off from the world beyond. The staff team were all awesome - friendly and happy to help with any question. They really made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The rooms are basic but super clean and perfect for a chilled getaway. The manager Awie really looked after us, the food was simple and delicious. The dive team gave some great advice about snorkelling (we are not divers) which allowed us to explore local reefs. Additional drinks purchases were easy and work on an honest system, which is great and adds to the chilled and trusting vibe. We loved our three days of snorkelling, kayaking and reading whilst sitting in hammocks. We’ll definitely be back to stay again. Next time we’ll even dive.
