Warm family owned retreat. Holger, Natalie and their kids are exceptional hosts . We enjoyed the pool, clean rooms and proximity to the town. Off street safe parking. AC in the rooms worked a treat and the rain shower was warm. Hot coffee awaiting in our private outside lounge area every morning and fabulous breakfast available on order. We would definitely stay again !

The property was exactly as in the pictures. The entire property was so clean and so well maintained. The communication with management and property staff were top notch. They responded anytime day or night. The building was safe with security cameras and secure front gate door with coded entry. The Wifi was better than my Rogers at home in Ontario Canada. Fully functional kitchen made cooking some meals a breeze.

Amazing place, absolutely stunning, the nature surrounding the apartments is and experienced that is one of kind, natures tranquility that you will feel is out of this world. The location is 15-20 minute walk from town and the beach, however I loved that as it was quiet and surrounded by nature. The outside space/garden at the hostel was a great vibe - hammocks, art work, fire pit, monkeys, etc. Very chill. Kitchen was also well equipped, and there was a mini grocery store less than a minute walk away.

Veronika and Erika were so kind and helpful, the hotel was always so clean! the rooms were big and spacious and came with oil and salt and pepper which was helpful. it was close to the beach, supermarkets and clothing shops

Incredible value, you could easily pay twice this for the stay, don’t let the low price pit you off, you are getting a bargain! location very close to beach, lovely owners who went the extra mile. The owner, who works very hard to keep the property in good condition and customers happy, very kindly did a load of washing for us at no charge which was very much appreciated. Beautiful breakfast which was also plentiful and served to order. Beach supplies such as beach towels, bug spray, body boards and deck chairs also available to borrow which was very useful and kind.

Hiljuti renoveeritud hommikusöögiga majutusasutus Refugio Surf Lodge asub Tamarindos, Tamarindo rannast 300 meetri kaugusel. Kohapeal on välibassein ja basseinivaated. The whole place was incredible. Food was excellent as was the coffee and the staff were very hospitable.
